glad we got him signed before the early period ended. brad and his guys were gushing over these receivers.
I don’t have the most discerning eye for tape but as soon as I saw his I was wondering how he could possibly have been so underrecruited
Usually the offer list matches the bump. And with the way coaches are overvaluing players during the second signing day, god only knows the offers he’d have now
Gotta just own it at this point. If that’s all anyone is going to say might as well say it for them and get it over with
I’ve never seen a Gameday like this one where they constantly remind the hosting school of a loss from almost a year ago while praising the opponent
All I’m seeing on twitter is that the announcer didn’t use him on his dry run for starters. Apparently Brandon Lloyd said he’s heard differences from that practice run and reality before, could just be using the game sheet from Miami.
Duke shooting 70% from 3 when they average 30% and Mamadi might be out for the game. Lolllll gameday is a fucking curse
I mean i texted a friend this is like playing a baseball team whose ace goes yard every at bat. Not sure what you can do about it
How you guys got Braxton Key to hustle and give effort and play defense is beyond me. Bennett is clearly a great coach. 80% of Bama's games last year he looked like he had just smoked it up in the locker room
He’s a good kid, seemed like he was injured last year and checked out for Hero Ball with Sexton. We’ve had solid success recruiting guys as transfers who we’re promised one thing out of high school and ended up in something different.
This loss doesn’t mean much in isolation but man we’re on the front end of a gauntlet and it leaves us little room for error over the next 4 games.
yeah Monday could really get people up in arms - even though a road game @ UNC is a perfectly acceptable loss
as far as tonight goes I thought there was plenty to like in what UVa was able to do and plenty to be frustrated with - and then the other-worldly shooting by a Duke team just kept them at arms length giving up some back breaking ORebs and turning the ball over...slow on some close outs (and perfectly understandable why that was happening)...I thought Key did a great job on defense, that they had a great game plan to frustrate Zion and Boldin. Kihei did a pretty admirable job on Tre Jones...just needed to have our own outstanding shooting night to keep up with them, and instead had an average shooting night.
