The rare tweet with mostly positive comments.
Catholics, what do you expect
Bold from a tenn fan. That sadly could be said for most fan bases.
lol the school has been on the right side of this stuff for a long time. Our shit bird fanbase on the other hand...
I mean most catholics are white, so.....
The majority of CFB programs are in rural areas. That should be expected
The WNBA players have been amazing with their social justice stuff.
They dont get the stupid comments about making too much money to complain from chuds. Ex-Kansas football players make more at Enterprise than WNBA 1st rounders do.
Atlanta United and Inter Miami both agreed to not play tonight's game just a few minutes ago. This year is something, but horribly bad but maybe some good.
Good god that's awful
Yep, from standing up to the Klan in Indiana, to Fr. Hesburgh's leadership on civil rights in the 60's the university has generally been on the righ...uh, correct side.
Fr. Teddy would be proud of this current group of players. I know I am. Fuck the backward mouth breathers.
For those not in the NBA thread
Good for them.
Black women are pretty consistently the best of us.
this is non-binary Native American erasure
Reds and Bengals orgz lookin around southwest OH: "Yall got us right, Pacer/Colt bros????"
You have the comedic sensibility of Ben Shapiro.
Edited for bitchy response. Basically, I think ranking race and sex by benevolence is silly and performative and so worthy of a little mockery. That's it.
I agree more clarity is probably needed but that’s a huge fucking leap.
Yeah I don't think you'll see it from coaches because they have to keep their jobs but I still agree with the tweet
It's not even a tiny leap
What is a giant huge fucking leap?
in which direction?
To think that any fan would correlate Dan’s comments with it being OK to kill unarmed black men. Do I believe people in our fan base believe that? Sadly, yes. But I don’t think they’re getting that out of what Dan said there.
its ambiguous to the point of not being helpful.
Maybe so, but that’s not the same thing as this:
If you’re the only person on 1 side of an argument, maybe it’s you
Uh that's exactly what he's saying in that tweet
It seems pretty clear that Alex is saying if someone has the belief that it is OK for police to kill black people that they could take Mullen’s quote as implying that the person who got killed was the ignorant person and those are the people who need educated.
I don’t believe that anyone who actually believes that gets that out of what Dan said. I just don’t. But, whatever.
A racist can definitely look at that quote and think, “yep, if Jacob Blake wasn’t so ignorant, he wouldn’t have been shot.”
Ok. Moving on.
women in general.
White women voted for Trump.
Where the white women at?
Voting for Trump, saving the burbs.
kinda sad that you disregard all other women of color because of white women:
I didn't. I specifically excluded white women because you said "women in general," which is provably false.
women in general would mean the majority. Brown Asian, Black, Native , etc so even if every white woman was a pos (which they aren’t) it would (in general) would still apply. It’s not just black women.
