This is what I said during the Miami game. Passing around the circle looking for threes is awesome when they go in, but man if they’re not...
Beeds07 you were spot on. A team that used to be so fun to watch because they could score on anyone and in buckets is painful to look at now. No rhythm. No spacing. No touch. Nothing. Brey needs to hang it up or Jack needs to do it for him. The program is in shambles.
2021 ACC Schedule is out: FSU (season opener), UNC, Virginia and Virginia Tech all have a bye week before playing ND. GT plays BC before playing ND.
Probably the best thing for him. Go take those degrees to a job and don't get cte trying to hang on the end of a roster
Spoiler: Sss Ian Book AFC Scout: Great week. Good decisions. Knows the playbook. Confidence growing. NFC Scout: Performed well this week. 2nd or 3rd best QB here and he's consistent. Letting it fly more but would like to see him force some stuff vs. running with a red jersey. Although, he's faster than I expected it's part of his game and he should run when he has space. Robert Hainsey AFC Scout: Incredible week. Seems light but plays strong. Elite punch. Bright future at guard. NFC Scout: Impressive week of work and a great interview. Maturity will allow him to play sooner than later. Aaron Banks AFC Scout: Average week. Looked great and looked like he should still be in school. Love his potential. NFC Scout: Banks was up and down. Surprising for him to be behind in pass pro compared to his peers. He'll go higher than he probably should because of his athleticism and potential. Might be soft too. Daelin Hayes AFC Scout: Typical practice week for Hayes from what I've learned. Not sure why the light hasn't gone in games. Will be a risky pick. NFC Scout: Exciting player off the edge and he's strong. Great lower body and can bend. Lack of production and injuries is a concern but he helped himself. Ade Ogundeji AFC Scout: Flashy is not his game. Love the length. He's still raw. Will need 2 years. Similar path to the Okwara kid. NFC Scout: He was better than expected, but not great. Some teams are high on him. He increased his stock. My concern will be how long it takes to develop him.
<personal rant time> i was supposed to get married in July 2020. that obviously got postponed bc of covid, so we moved it to may 22nd. then nd moved graduation from may 15 to may 22, so we moved it to may 15. now that things are not better at all, we decided to move to august. a slot at the basilica and our reception venue both opened miraculously within the last week, so we thought we'd jump on that. turns out, the weekend we're looking at is the weekend of the rescheduled george fucking strait concert (no offense to anyone who likes him, but i fucking hate him at the moment), so morris inn is not available, and hotels near campus are all either not available or rates above average. every time it seems like things are going to work out, something else comes up. fuck covid and everything that comes with it. and i know in the grand scheme of this year, having to adjust our wedding is not close to things many other people are dealing with, but it still sucks. </personal rant time>
What's the level of confidence that stadium concerts will be full go by August? When would be the time they'd have to know for certain to give it a go/no go? If it's just a couple month could you wait it out?
haha literally just asked our venueND person that exact question. we are fairly confident we wont be hosting 80,000 person (or however big that one is planned for) concerts by the first week in August. so yeah, we're just going to have to wait it out. our person couldn't say when ND would need to make that decision, just that things are changing all the time. it'll likely all work out very well, just frustrating at this point
Whatever you do, do not send your guests to the Country Inn down the street from Ruth's Chris. I skipped my Sunday graduation ceremony and a big factor why was how awful the rooms there were.
Dude I’ve got the hook up on St. Mary’s up here and I can get you the Elks for free. May as well get classy and go with my package. seriously though, that sucks. Once shit opens and they can start making stuff up campus is going to get nuts. Hoping for you they push the concerts.
https://wsvn.com/news/local/miami-d...armed-robber-in-south-beach-suspect-arrested/ Tee Shepard got arrested
I've heard multiple reports list Freeman as one of the top candidates for UCF... Would he really leave after a month for a G5 job? Granted, it's probably the best g5 job out there
What was the full story with him at Notre Dame. If I'm remembering correctly, he made a super late commitment then didn't last the summer term. Is that right?
I don’t remember it being late but we wanted him and his cousin Greenberry (who just decided to sign with Houston without telling anyone). Tee was allegedly a really weird dude and then it came out that his test scores were fraudulent so Nd booted him
Turns out ranting on this board was just the thing needed to make things right. Another slot opened the weekend before and everything is falling into place nicely. Got everyone but our photographer confirmed. Forgive my ot posts. Carry on
Do we have a decent shot at Gavin Wismatt? His top 9 he released doesn’t seem to be overly impressive unless he has a strong in-state tie to Louisville or Kentucky but I know nothing about his recruitment.
Was this kid just a pain in the ass to deal with? Seems like the staff was more stubborn than normal with insisting on a position for him. Have to imagine some other programs found reasons to tell him to fuck off for him to end up at UCF
Loy said ND switched their tune and was open to him coming in as a receiver but after recruiting him so hard at safety he wasn’t going for it
I’m comfortable rolling the dice if it presents an opportunity to upgrade from a recruiting perspective
Looking at Loy's qb article I kind of want them to go after Drew Allar. A 6'5" with big arm talent and not another 6'1" 190 pound guy that lights up bad competition like the last three they've recruited. Stop trying to find the next Johnny Manziel and start with arm talent. This is also assuming that Loy's scouting report is accurate which I acknowledge is no sure thing
