so he is committing on the day he will be going to the ND BBQ, that seriously cant mean anything but good news or am i missing something obvious here
I don’t think he’s going to come to the BBQ. Florida has convinced him that they are the best place to go for TEs after Pitts freaky year.
I would say the same from the Michigan side too. There’s nothing scary about recruiting against ND right now. Especially when it comes to offensive talent and even more so when it comes to kids from Michigan.
Signed Braiden McGregor, Donovan Edwards, Tyler Morris, A.J. Henning, Will Johnson. See how easy that is for both sides. We go head to head on a bunch of guys and typically split them pretty evenly and like Beeds07 says. Detroit is far more pro UM with it being 45 minutes away than Grand Rapids and Traverse City where Burnham and Ziegler are from.
Ya it's really not that big of a deal. I'm mostly messing around because we're talking about Michigan in an ND thread
Ya I don't really care to be honest. Although 2 of the guys you listed are from ill and one is behind other WR recruits in this year's class on the board. Idk or remember who Will Johnson is. I dont really follow recruiting as close as I used too. Although Freeman is reeling me back in
I get it We're comparing a fanbase that has to push DeShone Kizer and Ian Book as successes compared to a retired dude who never even played at the university It's a cripple fight.
Imagine being so insecure about a homegrown recruit you offered in the 7th grade that you're in another team's thread convincing them that he won't spurn you for the glitz and glitter of a playoff team. Honestly, I sort of feel bad for this piano kid.
I don’t really care to fight but let’s just say that this Michigan guy is exactly what I expect from Michigan fans. Arguing that both programs are on the same level right now is funny.
I know Ohio State is encouraging him to stay in Florida due to the competition level. Obviously Chicago is a lot closer to SB.
Serious question, do you guys go into other teams threads and anytime someone ND is recruiting is mentioned and basically say "Nope hes ours"...Or is it just Michigan and Ohio state fans that do that? I dont follow recruiting but thats the most beta shit ive ever seen.
Has any Ohio State fan done this? I pop in here from time to time and don’t ever recall having seen that.
it’s incredible, I would also like to point out that Pelican is not included in that. He provides good info and is not like a little child that wants to say that his team will get whoever they want (even though it’s kinda true). Michigan fans can be the worse, they never lost a game or a recruit. They just got robbed by the refs or changed their mind and did not want that recruit anymore. they went 2-4 last year with a huge 3 ot win over Rutgers and we have a Michigan fan in here telling us that Nd and Michigan are on the same level right now….
one did it a while ago when Nd got the dl from ohio, he came in just to tell us that the guy was not really any good and that osu did not want him anyway it might be true but what a weird reaction, his first impulse was to go to the Nd thread to tell Nd fans about it.
The way I see it, OSU fans, especially Pelican come to remind us how full of shit Loy is, which I appreciate. Michigan fans do show up more whenever there's a player were both in for that they feel they will get, but I have zero issues with the Bucks that come here.
I don’t really like that Driskell guy either but I don’t know much about him. I respect Loy’s hustle and he seems like a nice guy even if he jumps the gun a bit at times.
Take pity on our Michigan counterparts friends, they worship a wife (and child) beater who covered up sex assault and never won shit. At least our shitty chud coach won a natty.
You’re not alone He really sucks in a way different than Loy. Loy seems to really try and just gets stuff wrong. Driskell is just cocky about what he thinks he knows.
driskell thinks he is a football oracle, but really he is just a bible touting idiot who cant write to save his life, he can make a 2 hour oration out of a 2 minute argument though
The OFD guys shitting on Driskell always makes me happy. I don’t hate his podcast but he seems awful to deal with.
it really is this...he legit thinks he knows better than ND football coaches how best to manage a team, run an offense, and recruit i do love his film breakdowns (in general) because he puts for the effort to really break it down but he should never act like he knows everything because coaches have access to WAY more film and data than any of us do
I was referring to the OSU kid who said something like "lol hes all yours" when Vernon committed. Literally as soon as someone said he committed that was the first reply. If thats what you like then go for it. Just not sure I understand your first reaction being lets go in their thread and laugh and say we didn't want him.

Loy also said this FYI — Four-star DB Ryan Yaites (2023) is not going to be able to make it. Parents work schedule is complicating the trip. That said, he's planning on being back in the fall for potentially multiple trips. I would love to get the Denton duo (Yaites and Bowen) and they really really loved their ND visit earlier this summer
This all weirdly escalated for no reason imo. pianoman has come in here before to share info (McGregor, Rocco) and has never been annoying about it, including this time. I don't remember any other teams having people come in here to be annoying about recruiting actually, and if they are actually going to share what their side is hearing I would welcome that - that info is more meaningful than the typical Loy sunshine.
