This is beyond embarrassing. In other news, women's bball plays UConn on Wednesday. 1 vs 2. Battle of unbeatens
Crony Elston to DC? No one will work with Chubby Kelly b/c they know he is TOAST. Fire him now or fire him later. #NotreDame #firekelly
Rhule to Baylor. Damn, was hoping we could have hired him after next year inevitably blows up in the University's face
Only read the headline, but the difference is winning. There is a 100 page thread on this site about how salty Nick Saban is. When one of his players got pulled over with weed and an unlicensed pistol what accountability did he take? He accused the police officer of being an LSU fan and discriminating against his player. If we were 10-2 no one cares about this response, and it's ridiculous to call it a time of crisis due to the NCAA penalty. The crisis was in 2014 when the program handled this very proactively. The crisis is that we have a crappy football team. This scandal is just noise.
This is correct! Unfortunately for ND fans they are not 10-2(4-8) and they have a pos douche coach that can't win games, so this type of stuff will continue to pop up as it should.
I'm calm as hell. Article is just bad. I'd say the same about something glowing and absolving of Kelly. Truth is in the middle.
i don't endorse the article, although fuck brian kelly, i just thought it was funny that we are such a dumpster fire that our coach is showing up on inc.com as an example of what not to do
Like was said, comes with the territory, ND is clickbait. Hell Te'o was invited to the media circuit after his deal by media that had never even mentioned cfb before. It's part of ND.
Agreed. That was a huge deal. It was a confluence of issues. Another example is Seeberg. That was reported as fact for months on major media outlets. Other schools barely make SC with similar albeit not equal issues.
Regardless of whether or not that article is well written or not, the fact our Head Coach is now being cited as a case study on how not to lead by random business publications is a really, really, really bad look.
Yeah I agree the difference is not winning, the difference is that he is coaching ND. No way does he skate on that if he had Saban's record.
I don't know if you can see our section, but we have a group of idiot fort Wayne fans behind us. This has been a glorious first half
Get Brey his practice facilities, some cash for some one and done recruits, and anything else he needs. Full time basketball school now. Edit: yeah it's just Fort Wayne, but if ND football was playing Ft. Wayne we'd be losing 26-20 headed into the 4th quarter
I hit a 34 on my act and couldn't get into ND but we have damn cymbal players jumping around like clowns on scholarship. Smdh.
shit happens, road game and we clearly underestimated them/sleepwalked thru it I'll take our wins vs Kansas and Carolina and move along
So Fort Wayne is 7-3 now. Probably favorite in the Summit to get the tourney bid. Could be a decent win over a "dangerous" 12-13 seed come tourney time. I'll take it.
Ton of credit to FW this was a shot away from a 30 point blowout. They fought back. Thankfully it was to late.
They cracked the top 100 in Kenpom and Sagarin. They have zero name recognition so people think nothing of them but they have all the makings of a solid low to middle mid major like you said.
Brock Wright - TE Robert Hainsey - OL Isaiah Robertson - S All signed early enrollee papers today. Good stuff. Now we just need to sign Charlie Strong....
USF's Taggart to Oregon. Strong should be the top candidate for USF given his ties to Florida. I'd think if he isn't the HC at USF, we have a chance to get him.
