Michigan is a beautiful state completely wasted on its inhabitants. Kick the residents out and make it a national park.
I'd rather be overinclusive than underinclusive. The Niles residents can claim Indiana residency, they already live at the Mishawaka Olive Garden.
My kid loves that damn place and I refuse to go there. I just really don't want to attend a class reunion on a random Thursday.
It's in her blood. This is an ongoing joke between me and my wife (a Michigander). I always ask her if she wants to go count the Michigan license plates at the Olive Garden.
We had people go there for pre-prom dinner back in the day, which was mind blowing to me. I wisely wasted my parents money at Lasalle Grill.
Man I haven’t been to OSL in years. 2012 OSL is the best festival lineup Ive been too. Golden Gate Park is such a cool venue too. Have fun!
Thinking of coming up for the Clemson game. Any tips on getting tickets? Best places to stay? Thanks!
Not sure about hotels since I have stayed at friends houses for the last decade but for tickets, just depends on your risk tolerance. Best deals are before the game about an hour before kick but most visiting folks buy through the allotment or secondary market.
I can’t stand this ou thing and reading the message board geniuses trying to say there are contexts when you can use the n word at work that shouldn’t warrant your firing.
I've always liked the 'If they can use it why can't I?' argument. I don't think I've ever been in a situation where I was like damn I really need to use the N word but just can't aw shucks! But I am sure they have very reasonable situations they can come up with and aren't just racist
It’s miserable out there - here is a particularly shitty one: “Growing up in the south I have been called a "cracka" throughout my childhood from those who are not white. I understand what being called a racial slur feels like.”
I bet several of our coaches say the N word. Why can’t this guy from OU? He’s a Gundy, he says it a lot.
They may be partly correct. While the given reason may technically be accurate, I'm wondering if the context wasn't a bit worse than the "oops my bad" story he told.
I doubt it was derogatory but no one accidentally says that word unless in a fit or rage or they are used to saying it all the time.
Yeah, I'm thinking the "rage" angle, while probably still reading it from the player's iPad, but definitely not a casual reading.
Good point. History could also play a role and this was a breaking point and they sanitized the story out of respect for a coach who's been loyal for decades. Either way, what a dumbass.
