The team looked good today. Some learning opportunities but they played with a fire that showed they haven't given up by any stretch and are getting better. Also, props to Rees. That was a very solid offensive gameplan. He has taken a lot of shit but our offense looked much better than what was supposed to be a vaunted UNC offense. That was good stuff.
And Killy Me Please needs to take a shit every first half for the rest of the season. Let’s not change anything from today
I had the game on mute, but saw a tweet about him heading to the locker room sometime in the 4th. I didn't catch much of the last 10 minutes, who replaced him?
You expect us to believe you have DVR in Canada? You wouldn’t have burned your wings if you could have paused.
The offense was a breath of fresh air today. It was 11 quarters late (OSU 2nd half, Marshall, Cal, and 1st quarter today). But it was fun to watch. Rees, with an OL, is a really creative playcaller. Rees, without an OL, is unable to manufacture any offense.
Damn, I really wanted Oregon to lose. Terrible playcalling by WSU on their drive where they could’ve sealed it.
and so close to so many more, clemson winning in OT, wazzu quiting a quarter early, michigan, ole miss, tennessee all in 1 score games. But the best thing was probably auburn winning in miracle fashion, because that pleased absolutely nobody
Miami loses to Middle Tennessee by two touchdowns and with 5 minutes to go Miami’s home stadium is literally empty. The sprinkling of humans in the building in the 4th were wearing blue. It looked like a game with total COVID restrictions.
I also haven’t had a drink today for the first game day in decades. I’ll give up watching if that’s my other option.
Ordered wings and a pie from Mellow Mushroom. Wings. Fun game, I'd recommend a trip. The people etc. were great. It feel at times like a football game at a basketball school but that would be my only real critique.
oh fuck that, we were all just being funny, we all want you in here on game day when you can make it.
Season would have such a different feel heading to the off week if not for that Marshall game. obviously unc is awful on defense, but it was so nice seeing the QB not having a panic attack every snap and a competent running game
Still have hopes the team can turn it around long enough for Marcus to figure this all out bc he is too good a person not to succeed here
Probably but…I don’t care? i had high hopes for him, but turns out the reports about him from the elite 11, etc weren’t wrong. Plus, there’s always going to be stairs on campus
