i think unless cincinnati loses, they'll remain above us. i could see them losing to houston, but that's the only way they drop below us. the committee obviously wants to do it, but it would be really hard to make that case until cincinnati loses
i just don't see it happening. despite my personal feelings regarding that game and the outcome of a rematch, they did dominate the game and, unless our resumes are equal, they won't put ND above cincinnati. especially considering they'd have that "extra data point"
also, at least for me, there's no downside or getting upset regarding the playoffs. either we make it for the 2nd straight year in a rebuilding year or we miss out and make a NY6 bowl. we're playing with house money if we make the playoffs too

Honestly back2back wins against OU and Baylor would help OSU make quite a jump, quite possibly ahead of ND. Likewise back2back wins in back2back Bedlam for OU would be possibly enough to vault them ahead of ND.
