Freeman sitting at his house not knowing what to do while he waits for the news, so he gets in his car to drive and go visit a recruit That’s my HC
damn that was awesome to see. can tell how much this means to him and can tell how much he loves his family and players.
Marcus held it together until he got to the line about how his kids were making an unchosen sacrifice to share their dad. As a father who has chosen my family over my career, that line was tough.
Vince did okay! Also, Freeman tripling down on recruiting at a higher level. #2 most important criteria for hiring future assistants in his words. LFG!
its so refreshing seeing someone genuinely enjoy his life changing opportunity. now well slowly watch his soul leave him and become a sociopath
This guy may be too genuine to be a high level college football coach, but I'm damn sure gonna enjoy the honeymoon period and optimistic that this can work out
That reminds me of a complete non sequitur. Incoming grammar nerd moment. One grammatical error that makes me irrationally frustrated when a writer has a singular possessive noun ending in "s" and merely adds an apostrophe. I am not frustrated with the writer - I am frustrated with the widespread misunderstanding of the rule (some style books even support making this error) for plural vs. singular possessive nouns. For example, "Marcus's family is adorable" tells you there is a single Marcus who has a family. If you write (as some incorrect style sources support) "Marcus' family is adorable," you are communicating there are two or more Marcu who have a family. And now for why I thought of this. There is one exception I'll allow, but only if you're willing to accept the inference I will draw. If you use the name Jesus as a possessive noun and add only the apostrophe, I will assume you believe in the triune God and treat Jesus as God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
Yep, sounds like he blew up senior year and offers are/will be rolling in now that his tape is out. Still doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy though. But maybe he’s the next Diggs
Sinclair on Devin Moore: Have heard some discussion about recruiting Moore back into the fold from a few sources. Personally, I feel like it’s likely, or more likely than not, that Notre Dame will get Moore back into the class. I’d be moderately surprised if he didn’t end up Irish.
Went to Schrauth and then Merriweather. Our boys are doing all the can to keep the class and add to it
