Garrett advocating for Fisher to return is the right message. Hope he does come back, transitions to LT and polishes those rough edges we've seen.
Angeli hasn't looked bad in mop up duty. Hope he can keep it up. Seems to be confident throwing the ball. Play action really works for him.
Buenos Nachos thanks for the hang bro. That was a blast. Your bro was pretty drunk when yall left. Next time my man
Not that I have to tap the sign, but our running game isn't as good as we think it is. We need a difference maker there to win 10+ next year.
Maybe these giant fully guaranteed contracts aren’t great for a profession that requires an insane work ethic, skill and a ton of luck to be successful.
If Travis is out for the season and they somehow beat Louisville, I wonder if the committee chooses the UM/OSU 11-1 loser over them at 13-0 lol I know it sounds crazy, but they would lose to Georgia by 50 with their backup
It's a shame he has struggled on the field because he was everything we wanted off of it. Playing "I will always love you" while showing him on the board at the end of the game was great.
Hartman essentially confirms he’s playing in Bowl Game Estime says no decision made on return, but was thinking about how it could be his last game here Watts does not run out with seniors
Estime looked like a guy playing his last game when he came off, think he'd have to get a terrible draft grade/projection for him to play past Stanford. Sam needs to play, he needs to put up big numbers a couple more times and hope some team ignores the middle of the season. I really hope we get a favorable bowl match up (and take care of Stanford) 10 wins would be big for this thing continuing to grow.
https://notredame.rivals.com/news/t...e-football-s-new-victory-monogram-celebration This is the most contrived money grab I’ve ever seen Will have one in my office for sure
ABC trivia question was "Who was the last QB to win 10 games with 2 different P5 teams?" A: Jack fucking Coan
Pour one out tonight boys I think Parker will 100% be back next year as OC only way that changes is another shocker of a loss to Stanford looking at next years schedule it’s hard to see anything less than 10-2 with Angeli, so shit here’s to 3 years of Gerad “war dawg” Parker let’s get weird
I don’t think he’s back. I think Gino has already taken over a lot of the duties. Freeman was clearly not happy for a lot of today.
no way, I don’t even know the roster but ND will be way too talented to lose most of those games USC that roster is a disaster Texas A&M ok maybe a loss FSU at Night at ND in November nah that’s a win UL revenge game at home, that’s a win at Purdue Win I’m fucking ready, we’re making the playoffs next year
my takeaway from this season is that nd is good enough to destroy every team that is a lot less talented, but when they face a team with comparable talent nd struggles because they are always on the short end of the coaching stick.
I think we are a little too harsh here. Clearly we overhyped Hartman. The losses are to a playoff team, a t-10 team on the road as a 4th night game in a row and team chocked full of talent. next year is gonna be interesting but hard to make any predictions until we see the portal shake out
I see that you are a happy drunk, that is a good quality to have. I am a belligerent type of drunk. I try to find fights, even on this board.
I gained a lot of confidence in the talent of our WR / TE today. Flores, Faison, Greathouse is a nice core to build around and maybe we see something from Thomas, Tobias, or Tyree next year if they don’t transfer. Should be best TE room in the country next year Comes down to - are we satisfied with Angeli and Parker? 8 wins with both, 9 wins with 1, 10+ with upgrades on both. Hate to act like it’s that simple but if probably is.
the clemson game really killed me, it was right there for the taking and they just let it slip. Hopefully these are growing pains
It’s hard to watch things like not playing for the final possession before half at Clemson, the cluster fuck before half today, and 10 men on the field against OSU and not think we need some real coaching upgrades Until we see that, hard to think it magically changes.
It’s a game they should have won and shit the bed on offense but it’s a little nuts with the wr talent we had to think that it was going to be a high octane offense
