Schrauth - starting LG (lost for chunk of season against Purdue with high ankle sprain and is still playing hurt)

Onye - rotational DT (lost for season and foreseeable future for unknown reasons after Miami of Ohio)

Mickey - 4th corner (left for transfer portal after Miami of Ohio)

Traore - pass rush specialist and rising all around star (lost for season against Louisville with torn ACL)

Jeter - Kicker (injured against Louisville and lost for most of the regular season - has been excellent in the postseason)

Morrison - All-American corner (lost for season against Stanford with hip injury)

Cross - DT and heart and soul of the defense (lost for rest of the regular season against UVA with high ankle sprain and is still extremely compromised)

KVA - heavy rotational LB (lost for regular season against Army with knee injury - back in a limited role in postseason)

Love - best RB in college football (injured knee against USC and is playing compromised)

Mills - best DL (lost for rest of season with knee/leg injury against Indiana)

Flanagan - backup TE (lost for season and next season with Achilles injury)

Knapp - starting LT who moved to LT after the Jagusah injury (injured in first half of semi-final with ankle injury and is probably out for the rest of the season)

Spindler - starting RG (injured in first half of semi-final - ankle?- and may not be available for NC)

Call me crazy, but Oregon and Texas are essentially the exact opposite teams of ND and PSU and Michigan are the most similar

I'm not saying we are going to win, but I think we're going to muck up the game a bit and give them something they're not seeing tonight (e.g. lame cover 2 and Ewers holding the ball like a statue)

I can understand why he didn't start when he came back under the circumstances with things rolling and you can't bench the others, but with the injury excuse to play him now, it could turn out to be a net positive.
