A click bait site can probably make an "11 THINGS IN THE LATEST ROBERTSON UPDATE THAT SOUND F'ING AWFUL FOR ND - YOU'LL REMEMBER #7 FROM PAST RECRUITMENTS!" slideshow from that article.
Nice win by ND over Clemson. Pulled away in the end and shut the door on them, at home. Brey's team is really starting to hit its stride at the right time. Let's get that double bye in the ACC tourney, baby!
we're in "third" at the moment and hold the tiebreaker over duke and clemson. big time road win and now rest up for Lou on saturday.
I know the ND coaching staff won't, but if he wanted to just sign a financial aid agreement and not a letter of intent I'd tell him to get fucked.
Who is our resident SoCal poster? Down here for a business trip and DAMN is Rei Do Gado in the Gaslamp District legit.
Well I'm in San Diego, as is Robdog_5 Glad you are enjoying the Gaslamp, amigo. How long are you here?
All I get from the Robertson situation is they dont want to make it clear that he is all in on Stanford if it so happens that he doesn't get in there. They are just trying to convey the idea that they are not going to begin the decision process until they know whether Stanford is an option or not. As for the LOI issue, it's wielding what power these players have left before entering a system that will exploit him for several years. I dont really have much issue with it and am surprised more top players do the same. I dont see the comparison as much to other players that have flaked out in the past.
Until Thursday. Got a conference at the Convention Center all week. Any must see/do in the next few days?
The one thing about the Robertson situation that looks ultra flaky is that his brother is handling his recruitment, and he's been all over the place. The brother is the one scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling visits repeatedly. From all reports, the kid himself is fantastic. He's actually really into the arts (which I guess is why ND and Stanford have a shot). It's his brother who is making him look bad.
Also having just done some guardianship pro bono... Having your bro as your guardian with your mother still in the picture is not a good sign
Yeah, the quotes where he said "if my brother says to sign on the 17th I will, if he says not to I won't" just give me a horrible vibe about this recruitment
as long as the schools hold his scholarship, i don't think he technically has to sign ever. realistically, yes fall camp
not 100% sure that quote isnt from carlos (given that its financial aid it needs a guardian signature as well iirc)
Well depends on what your looking for. With the weather in high 70s and 80s this week everything is open. If your more of sites type guy I'd suggest La Jolla Cove/downtown, seaport village, balboa park are all cool fun places. Not that you may want to see the zoo but it's world class. Mission Bay is not as nice as some areas but a little younger scene. If your a night life guy gaslamp district is where it's at. I don't know the best places at this point in my life. If you want to golf, torrey pines course is pretty sweet. Plenty of options with the weather as great as it is.
He may be a great kid and no doubt he's a great talent but when do there type of recruitments ever work for ND
That's bad right? @HaskellGarrett: Blessed and Happy to announce that I've verbally committed to Ohio State University⚪️ #Buckeyes @Hayesfawcett3 http://twitter.com/HaskellGarrett/status/697089576624459776/photo/1
haha. 2017 Bishop Gorman (NV) DL who many said ND was his leader. Haskell Garrett @HaskellGarrett Blessed and Happy to announce that I've verbally committed to Ohio State University #Buckeyes @Hayesfawcett3
haha. I will say... both could flip back. Not saying it will happen but a brother of a current player and the best friend (with money) of a current player.
haha. if i still cared about the nfl, i would have reactions to this @AaronWilson_NFL 1m1 minute ago Chargers hired former Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees as offensive assistant
