So D3 reporting Brandon Hilman will not be enrolling at ND. Apparently he didn’t get the grades required. Bummer.
What do you think happened, then? He got in trouble at school? Just didn't want to come? I agree that just randomly finding out about grades in mid-March mid-way through a semester seems suspicious...
He may have been cleared but needed a certain class and it didn't go well or something. Sucks either way, I like the kid.
I don’t agree with that. NLI doesn’t mean shit anymore Don’t release him and you invite a lawsuit. Much easier just to release the kid and move on if he doesn’t want to be here. This isn’t 2005
Sounds like a blatant violation by a school if they're maintaining contact and talking to kids after signing NLIs with another school lol
Takes a special person to lead a team from national championship game/preseason #1 to missing the tournament with the same core.
I'm not gonna panic about the basketball team until we see the HC and how they react to the portal, but this, uh, isn't a great start. We're gonna need 6-7 bodies in the portal and probably try to poach 1-2 mid major recruits who might NEED to play next year
so all the stuff about him making $2.0 million was of course bullshit, our beat guys are lame as hell
that's pretty much $2m so they were pretty accurate w/ it...i don't think he got a pay raise going to Bama
I'll choose to believe he realized he didn't want to come and begged to get out of it and MF was in a lose-lose position so let him go until its confirmed otherwise Cuz if it was grades, I'm not sure how all these other great schools are immediately offering him. And if they had a chance to still admit him and didn't, then whoa boy we're screwed
