His defenses were less than good. He's a spread em out and shoot over them offense with some guards posting up occasionally. They were generally undersized.
His offense is very good and an annoying matchup, I think he will do better with better athletes. He struck gold with Jalen Pickett in the portal his first year and that helped immensely. His roster only had 3 guys taller than 6-6 on it and they barely played but 2 of them were freshmen so he was trying to level that up. The bad D was at least in some part due to the size thing, he ran out a bunch of 6-3 to 6-6 wings. Believe his defenses were outside of the top 100 on Kenpom both years. He coached under Brad Stevens and Matt Painter, he's a bright bball mind for sure. He was only at PSU for 2 years bit I'm glad he's already out of the B1G.
Shrewsbury had been with Brad Stevens a long time. So I'm sure you will see some of his main tennents in Micah. The nba years for offense are cool. But Stevens always had great team Defenses
