his quote about the 2024 class is interesting as well...there are definitely some guys out there that have some pretty serious interest in ND in that class as well
I'm like 99% sure he's already committed 65% sure he will stay committed 40% sure he will not transfer 20% sure he will actually be good at ND. So yeah i'm not all that invested here, but those five stars sure are sexy.
Need the stars to attract more stars, especially because Steve Angeli will be starting for 3 years in a row after Buchner. He'll need all the help he can get.
I'm aware, same thing Why the hell would Bowen visit Michigan? I get Texas A&M and Oklahoma but Michigan is just out of place
Lol at brey getting a drink served mid interview. Love that guy. Now made a crack at BK. Love brey so much
Anyone have advice on tickets for ND vs OSU game tickets? Have a group of 4-6. Prices are pretty absurd at the moment on stubhub etc. Have tickets actually gone on sale yet through box office or any OSU alumni lottery situation? Better to wait it out until day of? Have had success with that strategy at ND but never been to Columbus.
I’d check in the Ohio state thread. Bc yeah, no idea if you can wait until day of to get those tickets.
well if you’re not sandbagging the entire way, you’re doing it wrong. My comment was more an indictment of (some) osu fans.
from Absher today, wow, it's crazy to think how many guys we would have lost in this class if BK was still here: "Nothing against coach Quinn or coach Kelly, they're both great coaches, great guys in their own right, but something just clicked when coach Hiestand got the job and he called me for the first time, and coach Freeman as well. Coach Freeman actually came to my school in December or January to see me. That was my first time meeting him. He's a class act. Coach Hiestand, I got to meet him for the first time when he got hired. I think that was January or December. Then obviously I went on the Notre Dame visit in January. I don't think Notre Dame would have been as high on my list if it was still Kelly and Quinn there. It's nothing against them, but I don't think our relationship clicked the same as it does with coach Freeman and Hiestand."
ND is all in on Dante On his relationship with the remaining offensive line targets "It really started when I silently committed that Friday night we were there. Then the following night, Saturday night, we're out to dinner with all the other recruits and commits and I walked over to the table where all the commits are sitting at and I pulled up a chair and I was like, 'I think Notre Dame has a new silent commit, guys.' At first they were like, 'Huh, what are you talking about?' Then they started to get it slowly. It was all smiles at first, but then we got down to business. We started talking about Monroe Freeling and Austin Siereveld. We tried to get Austin, but I guess we didn't do a good enough job with him. I haven't had any contact with Charles Jagusah yet, but that'll happen here in the coming weeks. But yeah, the current commits, we're on a mission. We're trying to get everybody." On recruiting five-star quarterback Dante Moore "There's really only one guy on the board right now and that's Dante. If we don't get him, I really don't know where we're going to go. He's a priority. We're trying to keep up with him on Twitter and Instagram and all that, send him a couple of direct messages, like all his posts, you know the deal. But yeah, we're pushing our hardest to get him. We don't want to see pushy or whatever, but we're trying to plant the seed in the back of his head."
according to Singer, he measured in at 6'6 and a quarter and 297lbs when he visited ND in Apr...that's a big boy
He’s gonna take some time since they run the veer and he’ll need to learn pass blocking, but you can’t teach size and they said he has great feet.
Also, the way they have recruited they can stash guys like him and Wagner from the previous class and just develop them for a few years and I think Harry is pretty decent at that
ND has 14 commits, 13 are 4 star or better ND had 14 total offers to 3 star players- TOTAL all positions per 247. I’m not even sure 8 of those are real this is wild
Who’s the 3 star? edit. Never mind, I see. I think I saw the rivals team rankings that has everyone 4 or better. Just an insane class
One of my best friends lives in LA now and randomly became a USC fan like five years ago. He sent me some edit of Diggs in a USC uni that he posted on instagram or something idk. I don't really care one way or another. Just seemed a little odd.
Transfer portal deadline is done, so if he wants to sit out this year just to be buried by someone else at USC next year, good luck buddy
