Well, we all now know Hartman just doesn't turn into a pumpkin the moment PA is called Potentially our two best offensive games of the year - Wake and NC State - were coincidentally the ones we had the most PA and threw the most out of big sets vs. just running on first down with three tight ends
one of the most underrated player at nd that I can remember of. We take him for granted. I really hope the shoulder can hold up and he makes a few millions in the nfl.
It’s pretty wild that teams actually throw at Morrison more than they throw at Hart. Like noticeably target Morrison because they have nowhere else to go.
If you would have told me before the season that only two of the 6 of Armstrong, McCord, Williams, Leonard, Plummer, and Klubnik break 200 yards passing and average combined well under 200, I'd have asked which playoff game are we going to
I don't think so? Home (6): NIU, Miami OH, Louisville, Stanford, FSU, UVa Away (4): TAMU, Purdue, GT, Southern Cal Neutral (1): Navy, ???
Dino doesn’t have the stones to tell Freeman to leave him the fuck alone and let him run his offense. Y’all need a strong personality at OC that’s not going to back down or acquiesce to meddling in the game planning or in game decision making.
Am I imagining but I vaguely remember we made a play on this kid late when we took Minchey, right? If DJU comes back and OSU doesn't have a conference, I wonder if he looks around. They said Oregon State thinks he's going to be a super star. My list of true "starter starters"* is pretty low with Rising back, so do you take a flier on a 2022 or 2023 kid with massive upside knowing it could piss Minchey off? *Starter starters = Pratt, Leonard, maybe like Cam Ward, UTSA kid, UNLV kid, Arizona kid if he's open to transfer, lol the list is not that long
I just feel like that's the mistake we've been making for years, just tying your horses to like two kids every two or three cycles instead of just bringing in as much talent as you can and running battle royale But you're probably right. Just worried we're trending toward an Angeli / Parker year
This tone they actually took two high level guys and not some guys the OC saw a little of himself in.
We're taking a transfer, they'll be asked to compete with the guys we have. That seems fine to me. If a kid comes along that is certain to start, cool, but I'm also fine with rolling 4 guys out in the spring and letting them sort it out.
If they like the guys they have, I see no reason to bring in another freshman to be a "maybe." On the other hand, if an experienced and proven guy who is more of a given wants to come, Ala Hartman, jump at it. I still don't buy Parker being back. I think he's cooked.
I think you'll bring in a G5 starter (grad or 6th year) to compete hoping one of the guys you recruited wins, if not, you have an experienced guy to get things going at A&M. I'd like a Hartman-esque guy but if you like your roster you go the competition route.
I think I would murder my parents if they gave me that smile paired with the ears. That is 3 strikes if you are not a millionaire coach’s son
I've heard his name mentioned on at least one of the pods.. leads me to believe it's a greater than zero chance.
Bring back fat Charlie to call plays for fuck sake. Idc but another season of Gerard is going to get me to not watch status.
Didn't he have some quote about like "where I'm spending my next three years" when he committed or something? I've always been under the impression he was going after three years, but feels like he's making a mistake when he essentially missed his freshman year and has been a slightly above average right tackle for two years with bad footwork and ok technique
Hate to say it, but Al Golden seems like a perfect fit for Syracuse Schemes well enough to win 5-6 games a year. Can get them to 8-9 in a year their talent aligns. Doesn't have any aspirations for anything else at this point so won't leave.
So has anyone actually figured out how to get Pac 12 network this week? Looks like something called Fubo includes Pac 12 network for a free trial, and looks like you can sign up for a $12 month and cancel to get Sling TV. But nothing to watch it free. How has Peacock not partnered to get this game?
I have spectrum because it is the only way to watch the lakers and the dodgers and it comes with pac 12 so i am set. Party at my place
