We're discussing which Atlanta based rap song ND is going to use in their National Championship game hype video. What a sentence.
Can it be older? Because I got a ton of recommendations....but honestly if it's not off of Soul Food then Marcus goofed a little
After the Georgia game, I couldn’t wait to see the All 22 cut ups. I have no desire to watch this one. So much tape to burn last night. It was ugly as all hell
Seriously. That series with angelli made me think of how explosive they would be with a qb that can him them in stride.
I’m all for the transfer portal, NIL, and player empowerment. But it pains me that this kind of stuff is now an exception to the norm. Guys that stay in the system, kept grinding no matter what, put in the same hours, the same blood, the same sweat, and the same tears as the higher profile guys, and they do it for the love of the game and the university they represent and it’s completely behind the scenes. It’s what made us all fall in love with this crazy, stupid sport to begin with.
We’re obviously biased toward ND in here, but it’s pretty surprising how many of these stories exist on the ND roster. Only CFP team to not have anyone enter the Portal once the postseason started. Kids want to graduate with that degree and they want to be led by Marcus Freeman. Im not sure it’s enough to get us one more win. But it’ll make that win all the more sweeter if it happens.
Yeah, Kudos to him for sticking it out and having the chance to contribute when needed and experience that moment from on the field. That said, I hope either Knapp's OK, or they can get Jagusah prepared to step out to LT for the game. Kudos to Tosh, and I'm sure he works his tail off, but we saw again that he just doesn't have the feet or the bend to handle athletic edge players in either phase of the game. It's not his fault, and I'm legit happy for him and thankful for him last night.
If any y’all are in ATL next weekend, I live close-ish to the stadium (west midtown, ~2.5-3 mi) and would love to share a pint or two and talk ball should schedules allow. My wife is used to it at this point
I’m an emotional wreck right now. Complete basket case. Sick, tired, wired. Might have a heart attack.
I need this set to Brian Kelly saying “I want to be in an environment where I have the resources to win a national championship,”
I still haven't fully comprehended what we just witnessed Down 10-0 that felt like 30-0 after getting physically dominated for over 28 minutes. Leonard just knocked out. Knapp out. Spindler out. Carter somehow still terrorizing the game despite the injury. Love looking limited. Defense gassed after a 15 play drive. "The bridge too far" looked like it was crossed And then... Angeli to Faison first down into PSU territory with 1:26 left. Field Goal. One possession game. Halftime. Leonard back. Team transformed. Offense giving the drive we needed and somehow we leave the middle four tied. Love turns into the Hulk again. Carter neutralized. Allar can't buy a rhythm. *WE* pass for 260+ yards. Victory Just can't believe what happened yet, doesn't feel real
Why is the national media always a few days behind me? I said the world could come together and hate Brian Kelly together days ago.
Sampson talking about how mad Freeman was over the PC is really interesting. He was heated and the team used it. Also Happy 39th birthday Coach Free.
Everything coming out of this game is suggesting Jeremiyah Love should *not* have played in this football game. Like was putting himself at major long term risk by doing so.
Something Aaron Rodgers will never experience when he's eating crystals and sunning his taint for energy.
Lou Holtz lives rent free in Ryan Days head. That’s the best he can continue to offer ND at this point.
My only hope for a possible Ohio State matchup is Ryan Day watches last night’s tape and sees an opportunity to run the football every single play against us
I think against either of those teams we will need to play perfect and have the other team make some really key mistakes. Don’t care going to the game so I can say I was there for MFs first nc game and the one where he breaks saban’s record :)
Anyone else feel like ESPN analysts and show hosts are incapable of mentioning how good the team has been without bringing up past disappointments?
Every single bit of commentary is leaning toward ND is the plucky, try hard Cinderella team. And to their credit, that Cinderella team never actually wins the big one. And if we get blown out next game - which is possible - it’s going to be the same old “Notre Dame getting spanked in prime time” narrative we always hear. It’s actively happening on ESPN right now.
