WBB fell to #8 in the rankings #9 is NC State who just beat them and made the ACC finals, so a real chance they fall to the 3 line
Did I just see Aaron Banks left the 49ers for a 4-yr deal with Green Bay and is getting $19.5m? Damn son. That’s a nice paycheck.
NDMBB beats Pitt 55-54 with a last second free throw. Good for them. Its been a tough year, so any positive down the stretch is meaningful.
Had the radio call on and Simione was pretty good about saying it should have gone to OT and ND fans would be irate had it happened on the other end. He also made sure to say we'd take it.
Fate has not been kind to this team all year. We’ll be forgiven for allowing a little unearned fortune of our own.
lol recruiting generally is complete dogwater. Worst I’ve seen it since some of the post-2015 Kelly classes.
Also true I’m not freaking out but I’m also not ignoring the fact that we lost two of the most important recruiting months of the year. It’s somewhere in the middle Big picture, we have the best ND roster since 1993 returning and the future of the program is going to rely on the on-field results of that group more than anything else
1. This is all-out war. Almost respect the shamelessness from Bowden at this point 2. LOL at the video guy that mistook Colorado for ND
All these guys committing to SC and Clemson are definitely going to stick all the way until signing day
One other explanation is that the board has evolved with the change in various regimes. I feel like every year if by June the paths to answering questions gets narrow that is when to start worrying.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Clemson and USC are paying kids to commit and they are taking the small bag now and will hunt for the big bag on OVs in the fall Bowden is notorious for pushing for an early commitment. Insiders say it screwed up our class last year, we’ll see who is right
If there is one thing I’ve learned over the past year since we had a WR exodus is that the sky is falling and ND football is in a death spiral.
Continuing to post / say things like this and being too chicken to renew the series is pretty standard USC behavior Would be awesome to see the class fall apart after another 6-6 year
I think two things can be true at once - 1. Recruiting is going pretty awful right now, 2. It doesn't really matter Even if we have an "ok to bad" class (13-15 overall?), we have more talent than we've seen on campus in almost two decades, with a lot of that being in the 2024s and 2025s. Plenty of time to develop and find holes in the portal, and this year's team coming up is probably the most talented since I've been following ND in ~2005. But yeah, kind of hard to believe its where it is
Michigan had a trainwreck of a class all the way into the fall last year and then just threw bags on their top targets recruiting is hilarious now let Bowden be a child
Ypu vould argue the top 2 and 2 more top 10 wrs in the nfl are from LSU so they take it imho. The amount of osu wrs in the league is impressive though.
Just checked a handful of mock drafts - none have BMo in the first round anymore Baffling to me given his tape from the last couple years but looks like he's probably around CB4 / CB5
The ECU CB with the torn ACL all last season and Will Johnson who was out much of last year seem solidly above him
And his size. Even before the hip injury, rumors were out there that he would be a lot lower rated by the NFL than CFB fans realized. That said, it feels like the typical over-thinking of ND prospects and he’ll end up being way better than his draft position. See also - Kyle Hamilton
All it takes is one team to like him. This is also a draft Daniel Jeremiah has described as not much difference in talent between #20 and #60 so whatever. I tend to think that a team will fall in love with the tape. As far as his injury history compared to others mentioned, hip is more scary than acl. It's like the difference between shoulder and tj for pitchers. There is much more and better track record of recovery with ACL.
This I’d be scared to death of a hip injury for a corner if I were an NFL GM. He hasn’t proven he can flip his hips and run with WR. He should have came back, but he also wanted to get married and move on with his life so I get it
Burton should just go to the highest bidder whether it’s ND or not He has no NBA career so get everything while you can
