I would be enjoying the trolling if the situation was reversed, but Chad has basically locked in a win for us against USC next season. I normally roll my eyes at bulletin board material type stuff but if Freeman was pissed at Franklin for the hairline comments, he's not going to have any trouble getting some juice out of all this bullshit.
It feels like the bill is going to come due on whatever Chad is doing to get all these early commits, including but not limited to: -Decommits when recruits visit other schools with a higher bag in the fall -Decommits when the team on the field underperform and people see the atmosphere in the Coli when Southern Cal isn't top 5-10 is like a mid-tier Texas high school game -Players on the team losing their mind when they see the payments the freshmen got, creating a tough team dynamic -Lanning or Freeman running the score up on them this fall Just saw their schedule for 2025 and the first half is pretty pathetic
USC vs ND is pretty simple at this point … Freeman preaches aggressiveness and violence. Riley is a huge pussy.
They're clearly paying people huge bags to commit ASAP and then cancel all other visits saying the dollars are void if they visit another school. Not sure where they're getting the money, but this is pretty crazy pay for play
Feels like 30 cruits announced ND visits this week including some kids that weren’t on Chad’s board New GM is starting to work
Just looked and my buddies kid is a freshman on the baseball team and he is raking. Used to ump this kid in little league and was a really grounded kid. Jayce Lee.
Its such a tough pill to swallow that we went 0-3 against them, not sure I'll ever get over that Winning that natty would have been so perfect to kill all the demons at one time Alas
There are not many places that make Northen Indiana look great, but Ohio is one of them. Revel in geographic and cultural dominance, folks.
I am old enough to remember Julius and his older brother Thomas coming to my dorm room for a party at ND. Yeah, I definitely feel old now too.
Sources have confirmed to Irish Illustrated that Notre Dame has made another addition to its recruiting staff, hiring former Coloradoassistant director of high school relations / associate director of player personnel Jourdan Blake away from Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes. Sources confirmed to Irish Illustrated that Blake's new title in South Bend is director of player personnel. Based on his previous title as a specialist in high school relations, he will likely work closely with Irish analyst Deland McCullough II, who specializes in the same area. Blake has experience at the collegiate level dating back to 2019, according to his LinkedIn. He spent two years as the recruiting coordinator at SMU (2019-2021), leaving briefly in 2022 for the same position with the TCU Horned Frogs, but ultimately returning to SMU as the director of recruiting operations that same year. Blake held that director position for one year before Deion Sanders and Colorado came calling in 2023. He also worked as a scouting intern for the Houston Texans briefly in 2024. A cornerback in his football career, Blake spent three seasons at Baylor, appearing in 14 games from 2015-17. He transferred to SMU in 2018 as a senior, appearing in all 12 games and, more critically, finding a post-graduate opportunity with the Ponies. He earned a Bachelor's of science in kinesiology and exercise science from Baylor, and a Master's in sports management and administration while at SMU. Since hiring Notre Dame general manager Mike Martin, the Irish have finalized a promotion for Carter Auman to director of recruiting and hired Ariella Ellis from Virginia State to an unknown role, in addition to onboarding Blake. There is still an ongoing search for an additional director of recruiting, and Notre Dame is vetting candidates for new roles and an expanded headcount within the Irish talent acquisition department. Sources told Irish Illustrated a few weeks ago that this offseason hiring cycle would be "robust" for the Fighting Irish.
