There definitely seemed to be some cliques formed from last years team on Friday. Hidalgo, Karlen, and Prosper were all together near Ivey and the rest of the coaches. Watson, Risch, etc. were on the other side of the arena and I only saw them briefly talk with Hannah. Never once saw Miles and assumed she wasn't even there. That thing broke hard after the magazine cover, etc.
so the insider guy never responded to the invite? I was gonna suggest that if it was a numbers issue we could ban Druce to keep the headcount even
That half of the bracket is certainly easier. That said, the first round matchup at Ohio State is extremely difficult, especially considering they already beat us this season. Wouldn’t shock me if the winner of that matchup gets to the Final Four and plays Cornell.
The number sounds shocking but it’s probably true. Many of those teams were $20-25m last year. Add some YoY growth to that. Plus $15m from Rev Share. You get to $40m quick.
I need a mod who can help me get a new member access to the team board. Who is it again who can help?
GoodForAnother can I please have temp power to add someone to the team board. You can strip me of the right afterwards.
I remember him playing at the Polynesian Bowl and was confused Edit: Also omitting Kona Scwhenke is pretty fucked up
We are going to play Clemson every year for 12 years starting in 2027. Bet they are replacing usc when usc bitches out.
Lol I just saw the tweet and had the exact same thought on USC backing out I can’t believe they’re doing it, what a bunch of losers
I can’t believe they are going into the season w/o a good qb. It’s like the only thing Riley was good at was poaching heisman QBs
If those bitches out west run from us ("drop" is giving too much credit) this is a fun replacement. They aren't at their recent heights, but Clemson's still a strong national program. We've come up on the short end more than we've liked, but there have been some great matchups and plenty of drama with them over the last decade. Hell, even if USC doesn't bail out of fear, this is a good addition.
This article is hilarious. It praises Bowden for the work he has done with the class, quotes Bowden as saying “everyone is calling here asking what we are doing and I love it!” then at the end says basically the entire class will take official visits to other schools lol So glad that kid is gone
I don't think any other RBs left were expected this soon, but the clock has to be ticking for them after Osborne. I could see one of the few at the top of the board speeding things up to secure a spot.
Same. Seider had an in-home with him a few days ago. Surprisingly, he also had one with Messiah Mickens shortly thereafter.
Bonner's the highest rated left, but a lot like Jonaz Walton more. Really, any of the remaining realistic RBs would make for a hell of a two back class.
2029 schedule has home vs. Alabama, at Texas, at Florida State, and at Clemson Yeah, USC is gone I think
I don't get why the media can't talk about USC's class for what it is They are paying kids to commit early irregardless of how sticky / committed they are to show a wide lead at #1 for recruiting, and then who knows how they stick. To me, dumb use of salary cap / NIL vs. getting a top transfer QB to try to win 10-11 games this year, but Bowden is loving soaking up the national media calling him some sort of genius right now, where it really isn't much of anything happening
