I will buy a shirt for whatever school lil Druce chooses. Unless he makes an abhorrent decision like Michigan or something.
Michigan and BC are pretty similar to ND with better college towns I obviously hate both but I could never blame my children for attending either
Ann Arbor is great and if my kid wants to go to Michigan, fuck yeah. Get that degree. i thought Chestnut Hill was dogshit when we were there ~20 years ago.
Chestnut Hill itself is blah. But the proximity to Boston is nice. Plus their housing set up is considerably better than NDs
Honestly I love Michigan as a state, their college football teams are just ass. I’m looking at you Eastern Michigan.
my state may (does) suck and I think Michigan is a vastly superior state, fuuuuuuuuuck the university of Michigan.
Totally fine? With Michigan?! Just kidding, if my kid was offered a full ride to S.A.U. (Satan's asshole university) I'd be totally fine with the free education. My house would be adorned with so many flags and pennants the Jahovah's would put it on their do not visit list.
I mean you’d be splitting hairs but the odds of getting into many Michigan tier academic schools as a boy from Columbus, Ohio is pretty rare my boys are bright good kids but they aren’t likely to be valedictorian’s we will probably looking at the Villanova, Loyola type tiers
Just got home, I’d be very surprised if he ever got a serious look from nd given he’s currently only 6’1 205 and plays d end. He was the 2nd shortest of the 12 dlineman there. I was just really proud that he didn’t look out of place athletically in drills and 1 on 1s with guys who have multiple big time offers. It was a fun experience and he got really good feedback from Coach Washington.
did coach washington hit on your wife? That is the sign that tells you how serious the recruitment is.
did I tell you guys that my son is going to UT (Austin that is)...he'll be a third generation longhorn after his grandfather (wife's side) and my wife and I both went there as well I'll be rooting for UT as always but they are still second to ND
The schools that were ready for this, can handle it financially, and have planned for it well will separate themselves from the group when it comes to that ruling. I’m confident ND is one of those schools. What it means for non-Football sports is the bigger concern.
Dead day today and I want to watch the playoff run again. Haven’t watched any of those games a second time. Are they available? I just struck out on the ESPN app.
umm...I'm going to be doing this too! I want ND to win the natty, even if they play UT in the title game that's actually what I wanted this year and it was so close...if UT could have beaten OSU in the semifinal game, my dream matchup would have come true and I think ND would have beaten UT in the Natty...hopefully that's what happens this year
and thank you for all the congratulatory posts! it's crazy hard to get into UT (and your major) now...they can literally pick and choose what students they want to take and they get so many applicants a year a lot of very good students got into UT (they were auto admits) but did not get their major
