I know the class we had coming in this year is stacked but have our recruiting efforts been piss poor the years prior, particularly coming off back to back Elite 8 runs? I don’t understand how a Brey team is this bad two years in a row.* *Yes, I know it is early but Losing to Radford is a red flag.
Per instagram we now have shamrock stickers on the practice helmets for what I have to guess is good play. Wonder if that ever trickles over. They look cool but would be god awful if overdone.
A lot of the ESPN "expert" reporters picking Syracuse to win. Could they beat us? Absolutely. Does their track record this season indicate that they should be favored to win? I just don't see it. Plus the spread currently sits at ND -10.5.
Syracuse has played a terrible schedule, and is only ranked where they are because of the relative mediocrity of college football this season. Y’all will be fine.
Agreed - which is why I was surprised that people were actually picking Syracuse outright. I think Wicket is probably right about trying to get a little hype going, but that still doesn't make a ton of sense because the game isn't even on an ESPN network.
Nd doesn’t get a lot of respect, lots of people on this board and in the media are really shitting on this team.
I know, it’s even a good thing as far as the media goes. The board, who gives a shit. It’s just funny
This is honestly where I am on Cuse. My complaint is the same people predicting we’ll lose end up going with this viewpoint soon after we beat them.
It's really a no win if ND wins, close game. "ND battles again with a much improved but seemingly overmatched Cuse" KIll them and it becomes "Syracuse was horribly overrated and had 1 good game against a beat up Clemson team".

Heard some rumblings today that we will be playing in Orlando in the next 5 years or so and we are going to wear Disney themed uniforms
Each player will be a different character and the coaches will wear golden mouse ears. Jack will be dressed like Mickey in Fantasia
First team to play on the moon(at home) against the nasa team. Nd wins by 3 Rest of the country- lol Nd struggled with the nasa
My closet is mostly Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines, Charles Tyrwhitt but we are talking football uniforms for 18-22 year olds playing in Yankee Stadium not me wearing them.
How? It's not like Kelly, the captains, and coaching staff drew these up. They told UA to make them some jerseys for playing at Yankee Stadium. Or better yet, it was agreed to years ago in the contract to design a Shamrock Series jersey every year.
I know, this discussion is about jack swarbrick. This game is all on the ad and he lacked vision. Giving up jersey sales for a better chance at the playoffs is a lose/lose
Just where are you coming up with this? You really think the jerseys they wear impacts how they play?
No, I think where they play impacts it. This game is a money grab. Just play it at home, how do you not understand that?
Especially playing on a goddam baseball field in November in New York against Syracuse...nothing about this game makes sense for Nd except a fucking money grab that really might turn bad
In fairness when this shit was drafted up I'm guessing NO ONE expected us to be 10-0 and also have Syracuse be legit. I still hate it, but I can understand doing this when you think it is most likely a tickle fight.
How? It makes no sense either way. You are a laughing stock one way or the other. That was a blunder anyway you look at it.
And if nd’s ad doesn’t expect Nd to be competitive in late November when He schedule he should just go home
Dude I don't like it, and I am personally pissed because they robbed us of a 7th home game, but, I can see where the mindset was. I wouldn't have done it, but I can see why someone may. It's a shit decision and if it bites us I hope Thoros puts extra sugar in Jack's coffee. He really should either way, or just make it easy and spit in it.
Last time I saw Druce on campus he had several hundred dollars worth of the Yankee inspired gear, calling it "lit AF", whatever that means
