What did Davarius Daniels ever do that got him suspended? He’s on Malik Zaire’s new video cast but I didn’t watch the whole thing.
academics if memory serves, he was on the same deal that got golson and a few others
Got it. I forgot that was the probably the tutoring thing. It’s just crazy that it was enough that he never got a look at the NFL even after some decent CFL seasons.
Watching now. We were DEEP into hoops at that time. Had 4 season tickets and traveled. Around this time we learned Conte Forum is an awful basketball venue.
he has done pretty good in the cfl. I agree, thought for sure he would get a look in the nfl. Although the talent at the wr position flocking in the nfl every year is pretty insane nowadays.
Today is a good day
Thats one cute beast
Btw happy bday Patface
Have a 7 month old golden and got her right around the same age (8 weeks?).
Let me know if you have any questions. They look adorable as tiny puppies but they’re absolute land sharks with teething. It gets a lot better as they age, but they’re huge by the time it happens. Molly is already 55 lbs.
That was the day of the bowl game.
I have a golden retriever named Molly too
Thanks buddy. I was feeling ok about 37 until I looked up how old Dayne Crist was and he's still only 30. THE BASTARD lol
If I’m being honest I thought you were already dead. Happy b-day anyway.
Why does nobody here ever remember my birthday?
Because i dont have you on fb (i think)
I tried to friend you but somehow the name wicket is not exclusive to you :)
i was just kidding, I have been here long enough to know that pat face is one of the first nd fan to post here.
good looking hound!!
I'm TMB dead but I'm not afraid to rise from the dead like a phoenix and e-murder folks like it's 2013.
Probably because you're not a fully invested ND mod like me. I've become the new PATND3.
Lot of 2022 activity posted to @NDHoopsRecruits today. Looks like Brey opened a browser and typed in "2022 basketball recruits Dematha" a few days ago
In what looked like another puff piece carrying water for the program, it gets a little more interesting in the middle/end
Youtube suggested the 2011 USF game to me last night.
good story on Jacob Lacey's dad who survived getting COVID-19. can't imagine being told "you have 48 hours to live"
His dad was on the podcast with Eric Hansen, it’s a really good listen. Him talking about making calls from the hospital is crazy.
what a nightmare
Paraphrasing here “ so Doc should I get my things In order » « yes »
So how many of you think we are actually going to have a college football season, and if we do, how many games do you anticipate ND plays?
I'm still thinking there's no way they play. I hope I am wrong.
Its sad because Indiana has done a pretty good job handling Covid but looking at other states I can't see how ND travels out of state or lets other states in. Would you feel safe sending a team to Georgia the way things are going?
Hope I'm wrong too but I agree.
they're going to do literally everything possible, but people keep being stupid and cases keep going up. ND is going to be (apparently) super strict with masks, social distancing, travel to and from campus so we'll see.
I think they play no in pretty empty stadiums no matter what.
i think JOK is going to be incredible this year...will have a more productive year than Jaylon did as a Jr when he won the Butkus award
I'm definitely expecting the games to be played. Too much money involved. Dates and venues may shift and the stands will probably be somewhere between 0% and 25% full but the games will be played.
Edit: bowl games are another story... I bet a lot of mid-low tier bowls cancel the games pretty soon and many of them could actually go under for good.
I agree - think it’s going to be a real crisis for a lot of lower level programs too
the lack of recruiting expenses does work in their favor though but yeah, i see a bunch of coaches surviving a year they usually wouldnt
- All games played, and at least *somewhat* on time
- No more than 15k in attendance at any game, at least through October
yeah games will be played, looking at an EPL game right now
All games played? Now that's optimism. I am very skeptical localities are going to allow all games to be played, let alone schools are going to be able to manage the inevitable outbreaks that will arise among the players. Sequestering a professional soccer squad for an abbreviated season is far easier than an 85 man roster of college kids attending school during the week while playing over the weekend.
Guess we will see.
It sucks that there may not be a bowl game for us this year
looking at Covid numbers, I would say if things continue or get worse @Ga Tech is off and the university might not feel safe bringing in people from Arkansas, even with testing. Luckily they don't travel to states where numbers are bad.
Not having fans would suck but it could be an economic boom for bars and restaurants.
That seems like a general statement that could’ve been made without COVID 19
I've got family in Arkansas. Every time going there as a kid I was amazed at the level of black hillbilly. It was creepy how backwoods these people were.
bertwing is Blytheville an exception or the norm of Arkansas?
Pretty country area in East Arkansas. That’s over by Memphis and not an area I frequent living in NWA.
I just assume everyone in Arkansas is some version of what was on HBO documentary Banging in Little Rock
(I'm sure there is some form of redneck/hick gangbangers that wasn't featured on the doc)
Ive been off the assumption that visiting fans would not be welcome this year in the normal “block” they get.
Think there is too much money on the line for ncaa not to try to play. If they dont I think that may start the decline of the whole thing. College sports will be on the way out and minor leagues for nfl and nba will replace
15 COVID cases at Texas today. 6 at Baylor. Univ. Of Houston has also already shutdown summer practice. Fauci also seems skeptical.
Not a great start to the season. I don't see how they make this happen in time for the fall. Absent rigorous testing protocols and effective means of quarantine, it's going to be a mess. Heck, just the costs just to enable teams to stay healthy enough to play will be too much for many schools to manage.
