is this payback for my mean comment on you watching high school spring games? i swear I do not drive a Kia Sportage 2016 with the damn door handles that keep getting jammed whenever it’s snowing up here and it’s always snowing up here.
But honestly i would not care. I still have my 2012 Acura MDX. It’s still doing work. I am not a car guy, as long as it’s free and decent I am good the gas is getting ridiculous though, it’s a company car from a company I partly own so I can manage and it’s not coming out of my pocket but we are at a point where it’s time to think about alternatives.
I just drove my car today for the first time in 3 months, only 55k miles after 8 years. 2013 Hyundai Elantra is treating me well
I just got a new company car 2021 Dodge Ram Laramie with a Hemi Fucking thing guzzles gas- 15.5 mpg so far
I was really really kidding about the hummer, who would want that. I never understood that one. i have the 2012 mdx, I love it still
Girl at work bought a bronco sport online Wednesday, got a call that evening that they had actually sold it to someone in person while she was doing her online stuff. Lol. Even when you find those things you can’t buy them. The straight Broncos seem impossible.
Put down $100 just to order it on July 14th 2020. Then $1000 to save my online order sometime in October 2020. I picked it up 2 weeks ago. Honestly never thought I'd get it because every month I would get an update saying it would be another few months.
This almost happened to me. The dealer told me I had 3 days max to come in for it or they had a buyer lined up offering 10k over sticker price
my buddy runs a large Ford Dealership in south Chicago, he told me something crazy like 50% of their vehicles are on waitlist only right now and even more when you get into certain trim levels. He basically only had Escapes, F150’s, and older Mustangs on the lot for retail shits nuts but Ford has some really hot vehicles right now: Bronco, Maverick, Lightning, Explorer Hybrid, Mustang E, Expedition, F250 all have more demand than availability
I’ve never had a good experience with a ford and I honestly don’t think I’d ever buy one again, even at a big discount.
I’ve had 4 F150’s never had a problem of note. I had one Explorer that was a lemon. I would 100% buy a F150 if I had to but I’ve never bought a car in my life, everything has been company vehicles so I just get what they give me. My Dodge Ram seems nice so far, my wife drives an XC90 which I cannot endorse enough incredible vehicle.
I’ve bought nothing but Honda since and I’ll never go back. That being said, I’m not a truck guy so it tracks.
I sell gloves and paint markers (a fuck ton) to Honda’s plants in Marysville. Happy to make money off of you
Dodge appears nice on the surface but everything is done cheaply and it starts showing with wear and tear. They cut corners everywhere to get the price down.
I work in the auto industry and when it comes to inventory Ford is struggling more with production than them just getting bought up. By volume they're middle of the road compared to others save for the Mustang E.
Our pal Red Rover recently got married and I'm certain he's talking about recruiting on his honeymoon, congrats man.
Thanks buddy She doesn’t understand why I’m perturbed about some guy named Dante Moore, but maybe someday she’ll get it
I'm just wading into the dating pool again and the future of the RB spot is not a hot topic with these girls :(
That’s your problem right there. You have to cannonball into the dating pool to assert your dominance.
We used to have a soap game. Intrasquad scrimmage a week before the season started. The price of admission for spectators was a box of soap bars. That's what we'd use for showers during the season. "Thanks for the donation Agnes. I'll be using it to scrub my balls later this evening."
Not sure why anyone would pay $250 to play Cougar Point when you have the Ocean Course and Charleston Muni close by. /golfnerd
I have joined a CC this year with full golf privileges (pool only for the kid last summer), I bought new irons, a new bag, I'm buying new woods. I have yet to play the course I am a member of. moral of the story: Golf and all it's trappings are dumb.
Same. I can’t make the math work, drunk + hot + physical activity = fun? I have a friend who lives in Vegas and plays multiple times a week in 100°+, freak shit.
