After the breakout year he is having post two torn ACLs to boot - I wouldn't blame him. Would love to see him back but I am not surprised at all if he leaves.
Rewatched parts of the game this week, it’s painful. But why the fuck did Nd let rosier run that qb draw so often. Ridiculous. They did the same against vt and Nd did not prepare for it. And running sideways to start the game was a killer. Miami is a speed team, run at these fuckers
I liked that last power hour, I know mike frank can be annoying but they make good points https://irishsportsdaily.com/s/4555/post-miami-power-hour-11-13-17
No, only saying that they think this team will bounce back . Also chip long did a very bad job calling the plays against Miami which is right. The defense is hanging on for dear life, and questioning hiring Rees right away and the impact on wimbush And I agree with the guy that said you do not replace wimbush, ride wimbush
This is fucking weird, 11am and I am still home, my dad is sick and we are not leaving until 1, I literally don't know what to do.
I don't like it, I'm seriously just dicking around the house. We bought a bunch of new shit for this week, I was ready to really tailgate it up in cold/snow/whatever but this driving rain is brutal. We'll be down about 1:30 if anyone needs a beer and really lame tailgate.
A nice part of not being in the playoff hunt is we can root against all these shitbag programs again.
There were plays early where ND could have easily taken control of the game and instead they all went the other way and the team fell apart quicker than a Jenga tower constructed by Michael J Fox. The lack of fight was disturbing, even when they were overmatched last year they kept fighting and they just quit against Miami. Not sure if that is on the coaches or the 8 captains but it was embarrassing.
Not sure they completely quit, the gameplan was just so aweful that they looked lost. Agree with the rest, Nd was shell shocked after the first quarter and going against air would have been difficult. Nothing worked
And Miami has some athletes that Nd can’t match, need better players. Especially at wr, safety and dline.
Not the same thing at all. But sometimes your psyche is just off as a team. In Hs we had a shit week of practice and got blown the fuck out 49-14 against our rival. Came back in the league championship game and won 49-14. We had one of the most successful hs coaches in history. Shit happens.
Quit was a bit strong. Wimbush quit but the rest of the team did not. The defense tried but either something has been figured out or there is a lack of depth/S&C issue because they seem to have been overwhelmed the past two games. The main issue that game was Wimbush absolutely shitting down his pants, most of the issues in the run game would have gone away if Wimbush completed some of the easy passes that were given to him which not only did he miss he gave away
Well that and the game plan was awful. Chip forgot what he was doing. Stretch runs with Adams? Slow developing options? Gross.
Playoffs? Kidding aside this team should not be in the playoffs, I would prefer to not make it and destroy a team in a big bowl for perception sakes. Nd is going to get blown out by any team with a good front 7 and every playoff team has that. Except maybe Oklahoma.
Don't understand your thinking at all. I want a shot at a national championship every single year if possible. Perception doesn't mean shit when we've never made the CFB playoffs. Great running game + above average defense = a shot in every game if we don't turn the ball over.
momentum and psyche are a mother fucker in football it happens all the time, ND hits that first touchdown and who knows but the score aint 40-8
Yeah I know, we have this discussion every year. I just think getting blown out by bama is not a good look
