I do not get the tactical idea. There were plenty of times that Ambrose or Nocerino (MOTMNNJB) had the ball with only a single option to pass to. TFC forced everything wide and none of the attacking players dropped off trying to help pull the defense apart. It was like fucking groundhog day every single attack. Too many times Kaka, Larin, MPG, and Molino were all stationary with a defender on their shoulder and nobody moving around trying to help create things. It was painful to watch.
Iam here for the slaughtering on national tv. Will clap for Patty since he will likely take over for Pep in a few years.
Holy hell that was "fun" last night. The foot of rain that fell in 20 minutes to start the match seem to set the mood for the night. Very much like a year to the date of the Chicago match. It had all the makings of a typical City match except we did not give away at the end. Now over a week off but we will be missing Larin and Molino for the trip to Montreal on the 7th. 8 matches to go and only 1 against a western conference side. 6 of those 7 eastern conference matches are against sides ahead of us in the table. 18 points from the remaining 24 should get us into the playoffs with 49 points (1.44pts per game). Another September to remember? The highlight of the night was the spell late in the match where Nocerino kept the attack alive twice with hustle plays before missing wide. After that he got a proper round of applause for his effort from the crowd and attempted to get the crowd fired up. The crowd responded. I think that might be the turning point in the relationship between him and the fan base. We want to players to leave it all out there and he has been doing that recently. Also did not hurt to see him going after Lampard on several occasions.
This would have approiate to last night's performance. Thankfully dont think there are any newspapers that do player ratings because it would have looked like binary code.
45 minutes to save the season. It is time for that well paid Brazilian to find the fountain of youth and the supposed #1 player under 24 in the league to prove it.
There are brick walls with more fluidity and movement than our attack. Just a bunch of statue out there watching whoever has the ball. Kreis has to do something to shield that back 4. 4 matches left in the season is not ideal to change the system but there is no chance they win a single match the rest of the way with this system.
There is no reason to have Kaka and MPG out there together anymore. There is not enough ball to go around for those two. It is time to see if Shea can pull his thumb out for a match and put in a performance. Bring in Rivas and hope he does something positive and sit the turnover machine Molino on the bench.
I'd be ok with none of today's players being here next season. I fucking hate Kaka's twilight years being wasted on these hacks. Larin can't do it all either. Fuck. These are teams we should be pulling away from.
Well after attending the announce event for Atlanta United and buying some scarves and giving in a deposit to the founder's club...I am moving to Orlando right before they kick off. So fuck them. Go OCSC. (insert team tag line or hashtag or whatever here). Time to buy some purple.
Traded an overpriced defender for an overpriced forward basically, but Barnes can score better than any of OCFC other Forwards outside Larin.
