2.5 days til I shove off for Vegas and it looks like tonight will be my most disgusting gambling extravaganza ever. The 5-6 people whose picks I follow have an insane # of plays tonight and the gambler in me refuses not to play along. Still waiting for the lines from my book but I'll post the plays as soon as I make them so the board can enjoy watching me ruin my life.
You use a bookie? I figured you used a webiste since you were betting on tennis and shit, I didnt think that bookies give odds for tennis
The sad thing is that this is with me throwing out 5+ bets because of line movement and conflicting plays between the people I follow. GW/St. Louis under 123 Illinois +1.5 Tulane +17 Evansville +14 St. Louis +5 Bowling Green +4 Towson +18.5 Bradley -2.5 Northern Illinois -1 Marshall +2 UCF +5.5 UMass/St. Joes over 146 LaSalle/Fordham under 141.5 Tulane/UTEP under 133 Villanova -11 Wyoming +3.5 Drexel +10 Bowling Green/Eastern Michigan over 126.5 There might be a few more because he didn't send me late game lines yet...
st joes -3.5 ok st -5.5 make it easy on yourself - its impossible to win in the long run betting that many plays.
This is absolutley not true. You bet a line where you see value. Doesn't matter how many plays that ends up being
You are wrong. I am currently tailing in CBB Totals and since Nov 17 we are 165 - 111 +66.85u thats 59.78%.
if you are tailing one system, sure it can work for a year or two. but pulling plays from X number of cappers online is a recipe for disaster..especially for someone who puts his entire bankroll at risk at any given time.
If pulling plays from 1 system that hits at >55% can work why wouldn't it work to pull from multiple systems that are hitting at the same rate?
The 3 late plays that I'm on the fence about are: BYU +1.5 Texas Tech +16.5 Nebraska +3 Things seem to be going alright in the early games. Not sure whether I should pull the trigger on these or not.
And what once looked like a promising night has turned to shit in a hurry. St. Louis blows a 9 point lead late as a 5 point dog. The end up losing the under for me and pushing in OT taking away what looked like 2 wins and turning it into a 1-1 game. Every game that started after 7:00 looks like a trainwreck.
And Marshall goes to the FT line to shoot 2 down 1 with :09 left as a 2 point underdog. They miss both and lose by 3. Should have been a big night. Instead it's going to be a disaster based entirely on bad luck in games I should have won.
Rough, I went 3-2 up +1.1u. "Any Day Thats Up Is A Good Day". That St. Louis game still bothers me, but I will not complain to much when it's a positive day.
Looks like tonight is shaping up to be even more worthy than last night. Hoping for a big night tonight so I can call my bookie and say fuck you I'm not paying you tomorrow I'm going to Vegas.
Duquesne vs Xavier Over 140 1.5u Siena vs St. Peter's Over 127 1.5u Seton Hall vs South Florida Under 146 1u New Orleans vs Middle Tenn St Under 119.5 2u Eastern Kentucky vs Austin Peay Under 142.5 1u Mississippi St vs Arkansas Over 146 1.5u Cal Poly Slo vs Cal Santa Barb Under 138 2u Hawaii vs San Jose State Under 146 1.5u San Diego vs Loyola Marymount Under 140 1u Portland U vs San Francisco Under 140.5 1.5u Yep Thursday is always a big day especially if you play sides as well. Here are my totals for tonight. Risking 15.95u, above shows the to win units.
I'm not even going to post them because quite frankly it's embarassing how far over the edge I went tonight. Usually there will be a number of bets that I cancel out because of line movement or different plays on opposite sides cancelling it out. Not a single conflict today and I decided to just play all the totals no matter what the line movement was because every total I passed on yesterday because of line movement won comfortably.
Another OT fucks me over. Had USF +2 and under 147. Luckily this time USF came through in OT but still pissed to lose the under bet when it should be a winner. OT never helps me. :curses:
Samford misses a 3 at the end that would have taken the game over. Big swing game for me I'm thinking.
I think I'm doing OK so far but I'm not even going to start adding things up until I see what the West coast assholes do to me.
Haven't had the bravery to total anything up yet. Late night games looked like they were going bad but had a little luck at the end. Won Hawaii/San Jose State and Cal Poly/UC Santa Barbara unders by 1/2 a point each. Long Beach State comes back to win outright as a 2.5 point dog after looking like it was going to be a loser most of the game. Just a few games left that could tilt this ridiculous night one way or another.
I literally yelled JESUS! out loud when I immediately did the math on the number of plays you had going tonight! Glad to hear it turned out alright!
I think 28 was my previous 1 day record and that was on a Saturday so it didn't seem so bad spread out throughout the day. There must have been something about yesterday because it seemed like everyone had way more plays than normal. Hopefully it doesn't get that crazy again anytime soon.
