Good show tonight. First set Hide n Seek > Pyramid and a Lumpy into Jimi Hendrix. 2nd set West Dakota Rose and now a solo Let The Cocaine Be > Salt Creek Malfunction Junction imminent
Yeah, it’s a great band. Her promo for it seems to say this is her taking her wigs off and being herself so rock it out gurl.
I was supposed to be there but had to cancel. I haven't been upset about this since I heard about it, definitely not.
Thile was absolutely killing it. Give me Jarrods swag/style and song writing but nobody can touch Thile on the mandolin.
Telluride streaming 2pm today with Thile starting off and MGU next. Sierra Hull just recorded a tiny desk.
Deep in the gummy ocean and struggling on if I tune into Telluride, Billy, Goose, or Rainbow Kitten Surprise (a show I was planning on going to). Late night decision will be if I watch Toybox Factory at Telluride or Isbell’s encore from Tuesday. Do love some Marcus King.
Never opened this liner/insert until today. Neat. Also I watched the 6/20 mama Billy show last night. Heartbreaking damn
She has been hanging around East Nashville Grass and is doing their merch. Her and Jarrod's brother will probably make some banjo babies.
Listened to nearly all of Peter’s stuff yesterday. It’s wild how many different vibes and lineups he had, and all the people he has played with in the roots and jam world. Living legend. I’m watching the Molly Tuttle set from Mountain Jam. I would say it’s more girl glam rockabilly than pop. Looks like they are having fun. I don’t think she’s done with bluegrass though, they still did some in her set. Hopefully GH comes back sometime. She has a bad mando player that plays about everything else too including fiddle and keyboards. Dibs https://www.instagram.com/mairsongs?igsh=MW13Z2NrMGI1MXkyZg==
Jason Carter and Bronwyn Keith-Hines are opening for Mighty Poplar (with Alex) tonight at The Ryman. So jelly No stream that I’ve seen
Saw this photo from Ringo Starr’s bday. I had no clue Ringo Starr did a country album. Billy and Molly are all over it. Allison Krauss and Larkin Poe are on it too.
