I got drunk watching college football tonight. Now it’s 12:45 AM, and I’ve watched Billy Strings at Austin City Limits 10/21/21 Away From The Mire twice on YouTube. I knew Billy Strings before this performance, but I watched it live after college football on a Saturday night in the Fall, and this is when I began searching out everything I could from Billy Strings.
All this Tswift / Ticketmaster stuff hitting as I'm refreshing my email waiting on AXS If I don't score, I plan on being on the steps early Sunday in line for a poster hoping for a ticket.

11:30ish. Don’t have anything else running on your computer. Have your login/cc info ready to go, etc. Ryman shouldn’t go quite as quickly, but these were gone in under 5 minutes.
This is the moment I have to admit Sturgill doesn't sit atop my power rankings anymore. It was a hell of a run.
My brother and I just had a similar conversation last weekend. Both agreed that Billy is in our top spot now.
I can’t believe I’m going to see this motherfucker at the height of his power in a 1,000 person venue. Kinda surreal tbh.
Joined the waiting room at 11:32 central. Fingers crossed. I just bought tickets to the Turnpike and the Avett Bros. show for Friday, Feb. 24 in Little Rock. Could turn out to be an amazing weekend.
I got section 1 row H seats 8-9 as my best available. With how quickly GA Theater sold out, I wasn’t going to push my chances trying to pick and choose. Just beyond grateful to have hit on both of those today.
There wasn't an option for me to go back. Dude. Those are nice. And Owsley you're far enough off the wall, those seats are baller.
Going to have myself a nice little Billy tour in February/March with 3 nights in Nashville followed by Athens and Atlanta.
I think my buddy is using his "knowing I have a possible spare" to keep getting in and out of the rooms to get better seats. He is apparently at work. - fucker
Pyramid Country > Ole Slewfoot is one of the best things going right now. And lyrics are a more fun sing along.
Top tier sequence My meme delivery is shit. More thinking when he justs pelts Well, which song is it going to be.
Really enjoying Me And Dad. This is the stuff you hear at about any open jam you walk into. Some bluegrass standards and a few country songs done in that jam circle style. 3 genre bending albums then a side/passion project going back to his roots. His next original release will be my most anticipated album in a while. He’s brought the electric on stage at least 3 times in the last month plus. I would not be surprised to see other projects from him unrelated to his current band as well. Dude’s just got the music in him.
Another Brick in the Wall starts at 9:30 or so ♫ Now Playing on @nugsnet: “Ride Me High“ by Billy Strings from Dec 27, 2019 https://2nu.gs/2Qy3IRB
I’m old. My oldest is a college freshman, also daughter at senior and son in 7th. I think I’m getting Billy Strings tickets for Christmas (kids told wife). My wife is genuinely shocked at how many bluegrass songs my kids know. She asked my 12 year old, he told a story about Jerry Almost Acoustic, when he was four, and asked what the baby did to get himself in jail on track six.
Got Bela and Punch Brothers coming up here soon. Should be top shelf. The Steel Wheels in Jan. Sierra Hull and Justin Moses in Feb. That’s her husband. Really talented multi-instrumentalist, he toured with Bela for parts of his bluegrass heart tour.
$107 for 2 tickets to StL. First row uppers in the back Chose saving $80 vs getting them lower. #cheapdate
Missed this before, but Sierra Hull is part of Bela’s MBH lineup in this Dec tour with Punch Brothers. Fuck yes.
