Ryman Local presale
Thank you, sir.
Remember if you do get two tickets, your wife can stay at home with the dogs. I will go if I strike out. Either way you still get to score
Maybe I missed it but can't believe there's no Lonesome River Band in here.
You get any?
Hell nah. I think the que started at 930. Not 100% sure. Didn't get "in" until like 10:07 or something.
Live or die tomorrow. Otherwise I will be offering blowjobs in the alley behind Tootsies each night of the run until I score one.
I may go to Knoxville at the end of the month offering the same deal. Depends on what the doctor tells me about the sores on my mouth next week.
Got three browsers in the waiting room, one for each night on three devices.
Let's do this damn thing. Fuck you bots.
Just call me the Daddy Rabbit
Somehow snagged a single restricted view ticket after 500 refreshes at 10:40
It doesn't matter at the Ryman because of the standing room on the balcony. But this really ain't a restricted view ticket. The pole is right beside me to my left, and my primary view is looking right.
Never miss a Sunday show.
Edit add on: the best part is the restricted view tickets are the cheapest.
Started listening/watching Billy Strings once the Bills went up three scores on the Patriots. Not disappointed 40 minutes later that I missed any part of this game.
IMO, he is right now, as good as any live player I’ve seen. He’s burning fire right now.
I’ve probably listened to Away From The Mire 15 times in the last three days.
He’s the only musician I’ll fly to see besides Phish. Just an unreal talent and seemingly great person. Are you listening to studio or live?
Live on YouTube on my TV.
I've had the TV on Billy concerts and the laptop on the game too
My son is 12, and I’ve got him watching it with me now. Hope he doesn’t Google the lyrics to Dust In A Baggy.
From Atlanta in early December. Going to Augusta in February.
2/3 nights at the Ryman in May + Bonnaroo in June.
Got shutout in seconds during Ryman presale. Will try to make it one night though.
Billy Strings fucks
As Eric Burdon would say, "I could feel hot flames of fire roaring at my back."

Won't get to see any of the special guests unless there is a surprise, but catching the core group of this tour in May. They are all great in their own rights. Micheal Cleveland is top notch on the fiddle.
It will be Bela with Michael Cleveland, Jacob Jolliff, Cody Kilby, Justin Moses, & Mark Schatz.
Here’s Michael sitting in with Billy.
You can tell when a camera person doesn’t really know bluegrass. Missed Jarrod’s whole first solo planning between the others to try to see who had lead.
2nd run by Michael is :chefskiss:
Hot Buttered Rum fans in here? Definitely not traditional (have drums sometimes). Progressive bluegrass/Jam/Americana. Used to tear these guys up, and recently revisited them.
Billy Strings' new tattoo
Is Fireline the most anticipated live song of Billy's to catch or is it Fireline?
'Cause it's a poison dream
Keeps me running through the night
I'll take it all and then some more
By the dawning of the sickly morning light
I love In the Morning Light but I’m a huge sap so
Billy is performing at the Grammies tonight fyi
It’s an incredible song. The depth of emotion on the entire Renewal album is truly remarkable.
The opening verse is my favorite in the song. They just put the winter wonderland show up on Nugz, but no England shows which would be lame.
Town Mountain is opening for Mike and the Moonpies in Nashville in early June. Not sure which one I’m more excited for.
Billy Strings is the fucking best
They are going to have to replace the stained glass at the Ryman. Most of it all just got melted off.
The more I listens to Strings, the more I appreciate Failing on the banjo. He’s awesome and over-shadowed and awesome.
I’m listening to Grisman and Garcia.
For whatever reason, I listen to bluegrass almost exclusively when the weather gets hot. Summertime music.
I’ve been working a lot on learning mandolin for some Garcia/Grisman and Doc Watson/Grisman stuff and playing along with the recordings. Grisman can convey so much emotion on the mando and play so many styles. He’s incredible.
He’s fantastic, as are Walker and Masat. Just a really, really talented group all around.
Bela’s My Bluegrass Heart show was one of the best music experiences I’ve had in a while.
If this is still coming near any of you, you should go without a doubt. Pretty sure I’m going to catch another night this summer/fall.
He shines opening the second set of Ryman's third night
I used to hope that I could dim the lights, ply my wife with a few glasses of wine and get lucky.
Now when I dim the lights after a few glasses of wine, it’s in hope she falls asleep so I can change the channel from this terrible movie and YouTube Strings latest on the big screen.
