But that started at 10. This shit started at 9
Give me 11 more rounds like this
Hooker's got to get his ass off the ropes.
Yes yes yes
They have more fights...
Love this fight so much. Hooker finding a home for those big right hands now.
Lord have mercy on these judges
HOLY SHIT. RAMIREZ!
Oh man, his kids crying. That's tough.
i swear that there's no gym that properly teaches fighters how to take a knee.
Take the 9 count and live to fight another round instead of trying to stay up.
That left hook was a bomb.
Great stoppage by the ref. Makes up for that blown knockdown.
This post didn’t age well
It’s too bad we didn’t get at least 8-10 rounds of that fight.
Dude he didn’t have an opportunity or the senses to be able to take a knee. He didn’t make the decision to try and fight through.
he had an opportunity well before the third barrage that did him in. He never attempted to clinch or every considered the possibility of taking a knee.
These fucking shots.
He should've gone down as soon as the first left hook bomb landed.
Bricktop always comes in with some Hot Takes.
Disagree he looked out after the first punch.
He was out on his feet after the first shot
Yeah, "should" was probably the wrong word choice. If he could have, after that first shot was the chance to do it.
Been rumors for a while, but that seems to be confirmation there’s some trouble in paradise between Golden Boy and Canelo.
What did his fans do? Or is this worded weirdly?
Think it’s a bad Spanish to English translation. Should say ashamed for my fans, I think.
Fight GGG again (you’re 0-2 or maybe 1-1) and stop dealing with all this other bullshit.
Tyson fury signed to fight yet another European clubfighter instead of a real contender.
Fuck fury and Bob arum both.
He’s just getting the practice for the rematch with wilder
And they're putting it at T-Mobile in Vegas, where approximately 7 people will pay full price to attend.
And charge fans 74.95 to watch it on PPV
Anything on tonight SC
Yeah, there’s a PBC on Fox card at 8.
FOX, 8:00 pm ET, Adam Kownacki vs Chris Arreola, Marcus Browne vs Jean Pascal, Curtis Stevens vs Wale Omotoso.
Kownacki-Arreola is going to be a blast, I suspect — neither guy comes to work by the hour, both guys have early power, these big boys are going to roughhouse. Browne is on an island with PBC at 175 and this is about as good a fight as he was going to get right now, sadly enough. Pascal is washed, but still about top 15. That doesn’t make this a good idea, but boxing is weird that way.
Kownacki, 30, and Arreola, 38, do figure to produce fireworks, and if they slug it out as could be reasonably expected, it may come down to who lands the first big bomb. Kownacki is unbeaten and right around the back end of the top 10 in the division, while Arreola is past his best days and says he’ll retire for good the next time he loses. But when the big guys throw leather, you never know, and Arreola can punch.
The co-feature is a light heavyweight bout between top contender Marucs Browne and former champ Jean Pascal. The 28-year-old Browne should be the big favorite here, as he’s in his prime and coming off a very good win over Badou Jack, while the 36-year-old Pascal has gone 4-4 in his last eight overall, 0-4 against top fighters in that stretch, and is coming off of a one-sided loss to Dmitry Bivol in November.
The opener will see slugger Curtis Stevens move down from middleweight to 154 looking for a new lease on his career, facing gatekeeper Wale Omotoso, who has never been stopped.
FOX card is on the air.
Curtis Stevens KO’d, and that should be a career I hope.
Will I ever learn? Most signs point towards no. At a party dvring the card and forgot not to check the thread
This fight is amazing.
Wow, ends on a huge gash via an accidental head but.
I’d very much like to see a rematch, no matter what.
