We have this at the buttcrack of dawn on Monday. Monday, February 24 Ariake Arena, Tokyo, Japan (ESPN+) David Cuellar Contreras +540 Junto Nakatani -950 Daigo Higa +250 Seiya Tsutsumi -370 Junto Nakatani vs David Cuellar, bantamweights, 12 rounds, for Nakatani’s WBC title Seiya Tsutsumi vs Daigo Higa, bantamweights, 12 rounds, for Tsutsumi’s WBA title Tenshin Nasukawa vs Jason Moloney, bantamweights, 10 rounds
Saturday, Feb. 22 PPV, 8:00 pm ET, Redneck Brawl 9: Appalachian Throwdown! This is the 5th of these shows we’ve covered, and I’ve never been disappointed. If you’ve never watched along with us… This is the last pure, beautiful thing left in Boxing. If you’re a repeat live coverage aficionado? Lil’ Smokey vs Country Boot Gang isn’t happening, but Georgia Outlaw faces Tennessee Cornbread, Macho Man is back (and he’s been eating snacks!), we get some first timers called Sudafed Crashout, Perc 30, Nashville Nyquil, and King Diabetic, and two guys called “Big Bad John” face each other for rights to the nickname. $22.99 buys you 25+ fights, not including the traditional riots in the audience. Yeah, I know the Saudi show is only $3 more… But, consider that you could buy both and spend 12+ hours getting wildly entertained for about half of what Canelo vs William Scull will probably cost you. BLH will have live updates, LET’S F—IN’ GOOOOOOO!
You watch Shakur fight? If so how’d he look? Saw he was took 9 rounds to get rid of a damn professional electrician but was it his fault?
The fight was never close. He was on cruise control for most of it. The guy he fought was pretty durable and took some big shots and didn't go down. I wouldn't say it's indictment of Shakur
Yeah fair enough I know he’s not a big puncher and Twitter is literal cancer but every top tweet was about him taking that long to beat a damn electrician.
Yeah that wasn't my take. The other guy was undefeated (which obviously can be deceptive) but he took a beating and showed great tightness to me. He went down 3 times in the 9th before his corner stopped it. I might have stopped it earlier if I was in his corner. He was taking a beating and had no real chance at winning.
Fair enough thanks. These Saudi times are weird, buddy in town for the weekend texted me around 8 asking if any bars here were showing the Shakur fight, “uhhh it’s done man he already won”.
Monday, Feb. 24 ESPN+, 3:00 am ET, Junto Nakatani vs David Cuellar. For Nakatani’s WBC bantamweight title. It’s easy for these Japanese weekday sunrise shows to get lost in the shuffle here in the US, but this is a nice little main event. Another good matchup in support as Tenshin Nasukawa takes on Jason Moloney.
Friday, February 28 Oaxaca, Mexico (DAZN) Main card 9pm et...Main event 10:30pm et Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez vs Rene Tellez Giron, super featherweights, 12 rounds DAZN, 8:00 pm ET, Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez vs Rene Giron. A Matchroom show from Quebec. Hernandez is a hard-hitting action guy, and you may remember Giron from losses to Floyd Schofield and Michel Rivera. Jelena Mrdjenovich and several French Canadians fill out the undercard. Saturday, March 1 Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY (PPV) Time: 8pm ET / 1am GMT (Sunday) Davis vs Roach main event ringwalks (approx): 10pm ET / 3am GMT (Sunday) Gervonta Davis -2000 Lamont Roach +1040 Gary Antuanne Russell -116 Jose Valenzuela -116 Alberto Puello -140 Sandor Martin +106 Gervonta “Tank” Davis vs Lamont Roach, lightweights, 12 rounds, for Davis’ WBA title Jose Valenzuela vs Gary Antuanne Russell, super lightweights, 12 rounds, for Valenzuela’s WBA title Alberto Puello vs Sandor Martin, super lightweights, 12 rounds, for Puello’s WBC title Yoenis Tellez vs Julian Williams, super welterweights, 12 rounds Look, I really like Lamont Roach, and I think we were all happy for him when he won his WBA title at 130 lbs. But this fight was roundly panned when it was announced for last December, and it hasn’t gotten any more appealing in the three extra months it’s had to marinate. Can this scrappy titlist from a lower weight class do what so many other scrappy titlists from a lower weight class have failed to do before, and finally be the one to upset Tank Davis? Almost certainly not. But Tank has one of the most consistent PPV audiences in the sport, so enough people will drop the $80 to make it financially viable. Jose Valenzuela and Gary Antuanne Russell face off in the chief support for Valenzuela’s WBA 140 lb title, while Alberto Puello and Sandor Martin fight further down the card for Puello’s WBC title. Jarret Hurd headlines the free two fight prelims. ***************************************************************************************************************** Puerto Rico Time: 7pm ET / 12am GMT (Sunday) Matias vs Valenzuela main event ringwalks (approx): 9pm ET / 2am GMT (Sunday) Subriel Matias vs Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela, super lightweights, 12 rounds Alfredo Santiago vs Javier Fortuna, super lightweights, 10 rounds Nestor Bravo vs Xolisani Ndongeni, super lightweights, 10 rounds A Salita Promotions show from Puerto Rico. Matias looks for his second win since last June’s surprise decision loss to Liam Paro. Valenzuela is no pushover, with decision losses to William Zepeda and Montana Love and a 2023 win over Stevie Spark. Nestor Bravo vs Xolisani Ndongeni, plus Alfredo Santiato vs Javier Fortuna, headline the undercard. ****************************************************************************************************************** SSE Arena, Belfast, Northern Ireland (DAZN) Time: 7pm GMT / 2pm ET / 11.00am PT Lewis Crocker vs Paddy Donovan main event ringwalks (approx): 9:49pm GMT / 4:49pm ET / 1:49pm PT Lewis Crocker +102 Paddy Donovan -130 Lewis Crocker vs Paddy Donovan, welterweights, 12 rounds Craig Richards vs Padraig McCrory, super middleweights, 10 rounds Kurt Walker vs Lyon Woodstock, featherweights, 10 rounds Tommy McCarthy vs Steven Ward, cruiserweights, 10 rounds From Crocker’s hometown of Belfast. Both are undefeated welterweights somewhere between young and in-their-prime, it’s an Ireland vs Northern Ireland matchup, and the venue burns hot when the action deserves it. Lot of ingredients for a fun show here. Craig “Spider” Richards vs Padraig McCrory is the undercard matchup with the most name value. ****************************************************************************************************************** Bournemouth International Centre, Bournmeouth, England (TNT) Ryan Garner -600 Salvador Jimenez +360 Joe Joyce -5000 Patrick Korte +1460 Ryan Garner vs Salvador Jimenez, super featherweights, 12 rounds, for vacant European title Lewis Edmonson vs Oluwatosin Kejawa, light heavyweights, 12 rounds, for Edmonson’s Commonwealth title Archie Sharp vs Liam Dillon, lightweights, 10 rounds Joe Joyce vs Patrick Korte, heavyweights, 8 rounds After all the foofaraw over Queensberry signing on with DAZN, now we get to watch Frank Warren and jilted ex TNT Sports live out the last few weeks of their lease before either can officially move on. Ryan Garner vs Salvador Jimenez for a vacant European title tops the bill. Joe Joyce has a scheduled eight-rounder here, barely a month before he’s slated to face Dillian Whyte, but he’s facing a guy who got blasted in two rounds by Hughie Fury, so presumably he can get through with no cuts or injuries.
I think Tank is one of the best p4p in boxing so it's baffling he won't fight anyone. He would be the betting favorite over Shakur, Loma, Haney and Lopez. And I think he would beat every one of those so again astonishing he can never seem to make any of those fights happen.

which is why I appreciate Garcia despite being all around horrible as a person. He wants to fight everyone , the weight class has a lot of fun potential matchups and Tank wastes 2 years w easy matchups Tank is an East Coast Arena draw but not really PPV.
