He's more mobile that Edwards and seems to have better presence, so to speak, and has a stronger arm. But he isn't very accurate. However, I saw Gailey make a pretty decent QB out of Tyler Thigpen for half a season, so he might be able to coach Fitz up. But we're still looking at a 4-5 win season.
I personally want Mallet. But I think it matters. IF (big if here) Fitz can prove hes decent, then I say we trade the #1 pick lower and draft a great OL. But if Fitz doesnt show he can do it then we go after Mallet
Trading down from the #1 spot is just so hard to do though.. you guys really do need to shore up the O-Line and there probably will be some good QB's still available in the 2nd round in this draft
Maybe one of yall can answer this ? Ive been following the Bills like the many Clemson fans have. I dont understand the drafting of CJ to Buffalo though in all honesty. You need a whole lot more like a qb an ol and many other positions to fill while rb honestly seems like the "best most complete" position you had. Sure Fred is getting older and marshawn has had some problems I guess but seemed like w weird decision. Did the front office ever speak on this? Was it juat one of those too good to pass up picks or what? Gracias
The QB prospects in the 2011 draft are WAY better than the draft prospects in the 2010 class (also consider Bradford was gone before we picked).
Exactly, needed OT's OT's and more OT's.... with all the QB's in next years class i would prefer to take the best OT in the draft with our first pick next year and get a QB with our 2nd rounder or trade up into the late first again if there's a particular guy they really prefer at QB.
Agree 100%. I think Mallett and Locker are overrated. But I worry that the whole "need a strong arm to play in Buffalo" crap will make them take Mallett.
