I have been thinking of finally watching through this. Would it be everyone in here’s recommendation to watch in the correct order? Fee like remember a long time back someone posted a website that had the order to watch.
Well if you go by release order, you will see a minor character get killed off in episode 1 that you aren’t introduced to until season 3. You will also see another minor character betray a main character in the season 1 finale then run into him again 2 seasons later and everyone act like it hasn’t happened yet. Just google clone wars chronological order, it pops right up.
If you haven't seen the Mandalorian, and you are an avid Star Wars fan, you have to make time to watch it.. I've watched it 3 times, and picked up on things I missed each time I viewed it. It's that freaking good.. if I could give my Disney + info to everyone in here so they could see it I would, but for the love of god, do yourself the favor and go watch it. Can't wait for episode 2 Tomorrow.

Mandalorian definitely reminds me of Rogue One with how it is shot. The first episode just takes you and it tells a great story with badass new characters played by an UNREAL cast. I can't say enough good things about it.
Greig Fraser is the DOP for mandalorian, AND he was the cinematographer for Rogue One. Another reason why this show is going to be spectacular.

Mando episodes 1-2 feel like the first two-thirds of a movie, as opposed to two distinct episodes. I get that's the nature of a serialized show on a streaming network, but when you drop weekly installments instead of all at once, you typically get more of a self-contained story being told. Next week will probably tie up a lot of the act-one stories, making the runtime of ep1-3 the equivalent of a single movie. I bet after the season is done, the story will feel like a trilogy, chopped into additional parts within each installment.

You know, funny you ask that.. Up till yesterday I hadn't heard one negative thing said in all the video breakdowns I had watched. I heard a few small gripes, but nothing major. I finally heard one guy who has had a show for a long time say he didn't care for it, and it didn't intrigue, or grab him in to make him invested in the character. Outside of that I haven't heard anything negative at all. It has a composite rating of 9.1/10 so most everyone is a fan so far, but Star Wars fans are fickle, and that could change on a dime. I can only speak for me, and say I'm all in on the show, and the series is giving me hope for future series.. Kenobi really has some potential as well.

Just checking my math, isn't 50 years before The Mandalorian about 10-15 years before TPM? I guess it depends how long the gaps were between ANH, ESB, and ROTJ
