You would think, but who knows how they really age. Adult yoda was old AF, maybe they baby for 50+ years
I think you might be missing his point. If this baby is 50 years old, it would be older than the amount of time Yoda knew about the cloning facility
I get what your saying now, yes I was missing his point. Then maybe Yoda was clappin dem yaddle cheeks after hours in the Jedi council chamber
If a 50 year old is an infant for that species, a 900 year old Yoda should be around 18. Makes you think...
I’ve only played to the first cutscene on PC, need to get a controller. It’s pretty cool though, visually impressive. Although that actor is somewhat grating to me. All I can see is his awful rendition of Joker in Gotham or his at times annoying lines/prose in Shameless.
Sorta, I’d guess most people don’t know him if they haven’t watched Game of Thrones — and even then they may have forgotten. It’s not like he’s Brad Pitt/Tom Cruise level of fame. Also this role requires a lot of physical acting and athletic ability which Pedro definitely has. I think he’s done great so far.
Watched the first 2 episode uninterrupted finally. This is the exactly the type of content I want from the star wars IP. they can have the skywalker saga movies, just make like 15 more seasons of this and put it directly into my veins
So last night I watched TPM and now I’m watching AOTC and it baffles my mind that there are people who think that either of TFA or TLJ are equal or worse to the prequels.
I guess I expected more from the reactions? It wasn’t bad just I don't know. I love Star Wars so I’ll be sure watching.
If I ever become Bezos/Gates rich the first thing Im going to do after ending homelessness and all that social responsibility shit is to remake Episodes 1-3 using this guys edits/ideas. Id pay whatever it takes in copyright penalties and production costs.
If I'm mistaken, apologies in advance, but I was absolutely sure someone would point out the similarities between the yoda baby and the mogwai, Gizmo, from the gremlins movie. If I missed it, I apologize, and 5 days out from the episode I'm sure I'm stealing this from something I've read, but I loved Yogwai as a nickname for it.
Oga's was pretty cool. There were 4 of us and we were joking around with 2 of the bartenders and they just kept offering for us to buy drinks (supposed to be 3 drink max). We tried all of the liquor drinks (shared them among each other) and all of the beers. Was feeling pretty solid upon leaving. Really enjoyed it. Smuggler's Run? Not so much. Also built the world's worst droid. I am still annoyed about it. Might try and sell it on eBay and build a different one at some other point.
I loved Oga’s. I was there for Dapper Day which I had no idea about until I talked to some of the participants. Pretty cool and the people were great to talk to about it. I had a couple of the drinks and the jello cotton candy thing. It was basically pure sugar but delicious. I also followed around some first order troopers and watched them work the crowd. That was fun. Saw Chewy work on an X-wing which was cool too. I loved Smuggler’s Run. I was a little disenfranchised the first go around because I went single rider and was engineer to two 5 year old pilots who just crashed the whole time. It meant I pushed buttons the whole time though haha. Being the gunner was fun though. I waited till about 8:15 and got in line and waited about half an hour to pilot which was the best experience. The best part is the end when they’re going over damage to the ship, etc and how well you do. Loved the experience but sad I didn’t get to do Rise of the Resistance which opens 12/5 since I won’t be going back for awhile.
This interview with Kennedy does not exactly inspire confidence in IX. Yikes https://www.rollingstone.com/movies...ar-wars-912393/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
I didn’t take much from it, good or bad. There seemed to be a measured, diplomatic, response to every question. I think if she says something like, “we have definitely nailed the ending and wrapped this all up in a way everyone can be happy about,” people are likely going to be skeptical (given recent vitriol about the last two movies from certain fans). Taking a middle of the road response doesn’t heap additional hopes on a project burdened by expectations (and some doubt) already.
Thanks. Just didn’t want someone in the Disney thread to plan on watching at some point and get spoiled
Just so glad she was trying to use a different writer and director for each film so there was almost zero cohesion from one film to the next
