I realized that I hadn’t finished Rebels, had like seven episodes left. We’re in this Jedi temple star portal thing. This is wild.
What’s the point of being difficult about it. If it’s discussed in the show thread you don’t have to worry about spoiling it for others itt.
She was there, at the end of the Rebellion, just before her and Sabine left to go find Ezra. I'd assume somewhere between the start of the Rebellion and he leaving, someone told her about the kickass Jedi helping the Rebels
She left the Jedi before Padme got knocked up (and certainly before the father was known) and left the Rebels before Luke showed up It’s certainly possible that she knows, but it hasn’t been established (and it’s certainly been established that news about the exploits of the Jedi doesn’t travel particularly effectively across the galaxy). Seems like if she knew Luke, she’d Spoiler tell Mando to take Grogu to him since had already started to try to reconstitute the Jedi Order instead of sending them to a temple to hope someone shows up
I liked that episode of Mando but Spoiler It wouldn’t make any sense if you hadn’t watched Rebels. Also, these fucking space whales are shitty assassins.
Rushed, uneven, no unified vision. Palpatine was so shoe horned in, that even the movie didn’t know why or how he was there.
If the junker Rey Palpatine/Skywalker/Star Wars on Jabbu knows the stories of Luke Skywalker then Ahsoka Tano knows of them.
Yep. Maybe not as they happened, but she obviously has to know the Empire has fallen and would want to know the fate of Anakin and Palpitine.
We don’t know if Luke’s parentage is widely known. Alliance leadership (and frankly, we don’t know how widespread that knowledge is beyond Leia and Han) would have good reason not to put it on the promotional materials. If she knows, what she did at the end of the episode is a dick move.
She may not know Luke is Anakin’s, but I think she’d find out a Jedi was back. She would have some curiosity there, especially if the new Jedi tried to reestablish the order. It would have been a chance for her to help them learn from the mistakes of the previous generation that lead to her departure. Hopefully this is touched on in her series. Presumably the name would give it away, but they’ve been weird about how news spreads.
We have no idea what strange corner of the galaxy she’s been in searching for Ezra. We seem to know that she wasn’t present at all between Yavin and Endor, which would seem to raise the chance that she’s not exactly plugged in to the news. It’s entirely possible she doesn’t know what Luke is up to, much less who he is. I think the only other reasonable possibility given the episode is that she knows who Luke is and doesn’t trust him because of that.
There’s still all the prickly stuff about what she should or should not be able to feel through the force. Obi Wan felt Alderaan, did Ahsoka? Would she have felt the ripples of Vader and Palpitine dying, two of the most powerful force users ever?
100%. She felt Anakin turn dark before order 66 from half a galaxy away. After Vader/Palp die she’s probably the most powerful force user in the universe. She knew what was going on.
Ashoka was classically trained in the Jedi temple by the chosen one and honed her skills in war. Luke had a weekend boot camp in the woods with a half senile Yoda on his back and then dropped out to go try and bang his sister
Luke beat Vader straight up with that little training, and he’s had five years since RotJ to train by the time The Mandalorian takes place. Ahsoka is probably the most adept force user out there with all her training and experience, but they’ve consistently said Luke is one of the most powerful force users of all time. Even though Rian Johnson neutered him.
Artoo watching clone wars right now as I haven’t ever watched the animated stuff. Kind of boring and almost too childish to keep my interest... when does it pick up or get somewhat interesting?
The first season is kind of a slog while the show finds its rythem. After S1 it finds it and gets better and better. What order are you watching? There is achronological watch order available anywhere online that helps keep things a little tighter
