This latest season is markedly better overall than the previous 2. Overall I'd say it's worth watching.
it is 20 minutes of your life. It's not a great episode and it is likely nothing from this storyline will ever be referred to again, but you might as well watch just in case. though you need to give TCW a shot at somepoint. just finished a rewatch and it really is excellent. just skip any episode where a droid or Jar Jar is the main character
It tells you something when they already started advertising for next week's episode before this one even aired.

I get that thought process because Attack of the Clones was so bad, but it really is a good series. I'm not gonna tell you what to do, but if you are enjoying rebels, you will absolutely enjoy TCW.
Also correctly surmised that the targeting computer on the x-wing could not make the shot to take out the Death Star
Neither AP-5 nor chopper bother me, I actually enjoy them...but Alan Rickman droid makes me laugh. Saw your post before I watched the episode, and when AP-5 (AR-5?) goes careening off the ship I couldn't help but see Hans falling.
They planted one or two lines from wedge where he noticed that chopper was not the same, I was kinda disappointed that the character just sorta shrugged off an accurate intuition like that. Especially when it's clear as day, and they just wait for Mom to confirm it. Would have been cooler to see wedge glean what's happening and be aware whilst playing dumb, wouldn't have required much of any change in the story.
So bathrooms are called refreshers in a galaxy far, far away? I think this episode is the first time I've heard that term.
And I liked how the Empire appears to have a mobile NSA. The story itself was silly but the canon tidbits were interesting.
I feel like a dirty prequel apologist but after reading a bit more of Empire's End I've decided I like the interludes Spoiler the jar jar one was very well done
It was sad and pathetic as it should've been. And I like that they're touching on how innocents suffer during war.
Spoiler Him not being sure why people hated him really irked me. He is dumb, but not that dumb I little reflection on his past and how he felt about it would have made that interlude great

Spoiler Sucks that his dog died. That was one badass pooch. Even had a nod to the Lando comic with a scoundrel stealing the Emporer's ship.
