let me know if this is good. Always down for good Clone Wars era books.
Will do. Not sure when I’ll get to it. Playoffs have cut into reading time.
Oh god. My kid watched a YouTube video and is now a JarJar truther.
Just confirmed. The first Poe Dameron in an X-Wing scene still slaps.
What has Diego Luna been confirmed in?
Cass Andor is getting his own show.
can we please explore some different timelines?
Seems unlikely given that they are moving to a persistent storyline.
My dreams of getting Old Republic die a little more each year.
The Acolyte is supposed to take place at the end of the High Republic.
I currently have no interest in that Andor show.
did you ever watch the show Good Omens?
I did not.
It might be okay but I just don't see how it can impact the overall story in any kind of meaningful way.
really weird thing to say right before the debut of your Obi Wan show featuring someone who was a new actor hired to replicate an OG character and everyone loved it.
Especially because the shortcomings of that film have little to do w the actor.
yea that's the other thing, she's throwing the actors under the bus to try to cover for her own shortcomings.
That doesn't sound like KK
I don't know, man. Seems kind of crazy to think the reaction to the movie might have been lower than hoped just because they fired the long time directors and had to reshoot 70% of the movie, which led to characters being completely erased or changed from the original script. Probably just the actor's fault.
I truly believe she is terrible at her job and can't understand how she keeps it.
I guess that means my dreams of a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan Master/Padawan series are dead.
have they ever discussed making Dark Disciple?
Solo wasn’t all that bad.
The "Han..... Solo" name origin is unforgivable but the rest of the movie was entertaining. I appreciated the Marxist robot
Solo was a lot of fun. Wish we could have seen what lord and Miller were doing. I genuinely think they are two of the best film makers working today
Finished last night. It was very good, not great. 8/10.
Takes place after Genosis and before the Clone Wars start. Right after Anakin gets his knighthood and Obi wan is promoted to The Council. Also right after Anakin and Padme get married, which makes it a good follow up to Queen's Hope (which kind of sucked)
I'm gonna have to pick up a copy of this. Thanks for the spoiler free review.
Listening to a podcast discussion of the book. They're talking about how toxic the Anakin Padme relationship is in general.
"You might have some issues in your universe when the healthiest relationship between a male and female are twins who have made out"
For those of you looking forward to the Ahsoka show, if you haven’t watched Rebels you really should.
it's snuck up on me, but a reminder that Obi Wan premieres Friday.
They are trying really hard to hype up this Cassian Andor series. My interest is being piqued.
Can't lie, I'm intrigued as well.
If they knew the show was trash, they'd just minimally hype it and let it die on the vine (similar to Solo). But since they keep talking about it like the next big thing, they have my attention.
Damnit. I'm in.
Rouge One was elite, I’m excited.
It’s not like it could be any worse than Boba Fett.
There’s a nice birthday gift.
so I guess Ahsoka will be after Mando Season 3.
They turn feral on each other
Been excited from the start for Andor. Loved that time period during Rogue One and they showed you don’t have to have Jedi to tell a good story. If anything, shedding the Jedi stuff frees them up to tell whatever kind of story they want. The spy stuff in Star Wars has always been interesting to me.
It's been expressed many times but I am just so very happy that Hayden is getting embraced by fans. I wish the same could be said for all of the other SW actors over time whose lives have been derailed by the same fans.
I think I've watched RO more than any of the other Star Wars movies.
