what an absolutely fantastic way to finally give us the darth jar jar story everyone has always wanted.
I want to believe this is some sort of movie that fixes the disaster that was new trilogy's Luke's storyline.
Went and saw phantom menace in theatres last night. Still hits seeing a Star Wars moving on the big screen even if it's not a good movie. This one could have been better imo if they made Anakin a pre teen. The child actor was bad and I think it wouldn't have felt so weird if the character was aged up. It's also still better then the pile of shit that is Rise of Skywalker.
Movie suffers because of the gungans. Just give them a normal speech pattern annd mannerisms and the reaction to the entire movie changes completely.
George just again being too dumb and stubborn. I will always say Jedi would be viewed just as highly as 1 and 2 if the ewoks were replaced with wookies or any other non child size creatures.
My 2yo hums the Star Wars theme whenever she hears it now. She’s already obsessed with Harry Potter via Mrs. Reocho, now it’s my turn.
If it makes you feel any better, mine didn't really take to it until around 6 or 7. To her credit, she discovered it entirely on her own.
What got you might not get them. My daughter is all in on the Clone Wars/Rebels stuff, Mando, and Ahsoka. If she were to pick a movie to watch, it would probably be Revenge of the Sith. She'll watch the other movies if they're on, but she'd rather watch the aforementioned stuff.
Just know that it probably won't happen the way you want it to. There is so much SW media out there, and so many different ways to find out the Vader/Anakin/Luke connection that it just doesn't always hit like it did back in the 80s when it was just the OT
probably not even Star Wars related, if I had to guess. Hamill having fun with the fans with something else he's doing.
Meh. It was entertaining. But I really don’t care enough about Morgan elsbeth and fuck a redemption ark for bariss
Hi it's me, the guy that watched the four hour youtube video reviewing/criticizing the Star Wars hotel CBS fails because they are unable to provide me this: the sicko content that I crave
God, what a slog. I'm halfway through this thing and this woman annoys the fuck out of me. Oh, you wanted a vegan meal but they didn't have one on the menu? Instead of starving yourself, did you try asking the fucking waiter? Nope. You are an escape room fan but you can't figure out how to start a single storyline on day 1? That's on you. The wife and I figured it out pretty fucking quick. I'm sitting here screaming at my screen "JUST PUNCH IN A CODE, ANY CODE AND YOU'LL TRIGGER A STORYLINE", but no, she didn't want to just punch on a random code. Her complaint about the dinner show is valid. That's a bad seat. Although I think she overemphasized how bad it was by only showing footage where she was blocked and not showing how much she actually did get to see. Then she complains about the "breakneck speed of the itinerary." And how "you could have a decent time just hanging out and ignoring the gameplay and just soaking up the ambiance..." Yes, you just described a vacation, the vacation that these character/passengers ostensibly signed up for when they booked passage on the ship. Instead, some shit went down and the peaceful vacation is interrupted and there is a whole bunch of shit going on all over the place, hence the breakneck speed of the itinerary. You can choose to do or not do several of the things. You could spend 8 hours on the shore excursion to Batuu, while skipping itinerary items on the ship. It's all up to you.
i guess it took her two years to put together her thoughts for a vlog i'm 90 minutes into it. as per usual, i find basically all of her points (so far) to be perfectly coherent and cogent. i celebrate all people who can be super fans of things but aren't going to let their fandom allow for excuses for bad or dumb things.
She basically says it at the end, now that it's closed it's safe for her brand now to talk bad about it. If she came out with it while it was still operating, she risks Disney blacklisting her.
