So Daisy Ridley’s movie is on to finding its 3rd writer and is delayed again. That thing will never get made. Consequences for Kathleen? None.
Another trilogy that won't get made after a few years of pre-production and Kathleen will continue doddling along
I really want to know what the conversations at Disney sound like when Bob Iger asks what the feedback has been from the Ep 10-12 announcement and someone has to tell him that everyone hates it.
Just allergic to competence. But it doesn't matter. It will be canceled. At this point KK is doing the film producing version of Check Kiting
Philadelphia Film Society is doing a special screening of ANH around Christmas. going to take my son and I’m super pumped about it. he asks me to put on “the old, real Star Wars” (real=live action to him) all the time so I think he’s going to love it.
They don’t need to overthink it. Just do a live-action version of Rebels, and everyone would love it. But they definitely need to use this song for this scene. Sound on and ignore the meme text.
I think about Star Wars these days like I do America. The leadership is feckless and the terrible fans have won. I just now hope for them to fuck around and find out. A cleansing fire is needed.
They really need to stop with the Skywalker saga. I liked Daisy Ridley and all, but Rise of Skywalker kind of ruined her character imo.
Just do a Filoni-verse trilogy and let random Skywalker characters do cameos here and there like the S2 finale.
Rogue One is an oddity for me. The first half is the first half of a perfectly fine Star Wars movie. It meanders a bit, drags its feet, and lacks a lot of excitement. The second half is the second half of an awesome Star Wars movie. It RACES, with quick edits, lots of action, thrills, and fun set pieces. The two parts are smashed together and the end result is a movie I like more than I should, probably because it gets so good in the second half that I always forget how fidgety I am in the first half.
It’s really a miracle it’s probably a top-3 star war considering all the re-shoots, plot changes, and director changes.
Actually scientific answer - they are the same genetic material, so they came into existence at the same time.
It’s the best live action, first act too slow and choppy. Clone Wars final four was perfect in every way. Filoni’s masterpiece and doubt it’s ever topped.
