Was rewatching some Parks and Rec and came upon Patton Oswalt's filibuster. For an ad lib, goddamn it's so good.
He's just got so much going on that when he throws the X-Men in there, it doesnt5even move the needle for me.
I think my favorite part is that it is a legitimate storyline that follows the rules of each universe he is using. some top quality nerding going on.
Finished Phasma this morning . Spoiler Pretty good backstory on her. I definitely thing they're setting up a defection from the First Order or at least a partnership between her and the Resistance. Also some good retcon why she didnt put up much of a fight to lower the shield
Yeah I read it. It's different than the book. It was just ok. There are some tie-ins though which is great.
New Aphra and SW main title were released this week. I get them from ipt. Ive been keeping up w the comics, but they payoff really isn't there. Every once and a while there's a cool tidbit, or theres a start of the story that seems like it will be fun/cool then they dont stick the landing. Ive never read comics before in my life, but just decided to w SW because why not, it's star wars. Plus I think it's cool to have hard drive of piece of new canon they put out, so I grab them for my collection too. I read them just because I have, but as a whole, they're kind of meh. The mini series are better then the continuing arcs imo. Theyre more of a contained story which is cool.
I've heard the recent Vader run has been great I'm almost finished with inferno squad and it's just okay to me so far. The plot went in a direction I didn't anticipate.
Send me more audiobooks then! I only read before bed and then I end up reading like five pages and waking up with my kindle plastered to my face.
I cant get them to you via a DL, but you have to be able to get them from your computer to your phone or listening device.
My company is renting a theater out. I'll be viewing on the 14th at 7 pm in choice seats. Any TMBers in Jax that want in, let me know by PM. It is for Marketing for my company, so there are some strings.
They did the same thing for TFA and I remember fandango absolutely crashed. I managed to snag midnight tickets like an hour after the trailer, but the 7pm show was sold out instantly.
I would absolutely love to see a Rogue Squadron series. That and the Yuuzhan Vong story line interest me the most. But would something like that even be possible now?
The idea of a race immune to the Force was cool in concept but the Yuzhan Vong were like something out of Star Trek
Book of Henry is leaking out on the torrance. I have no idea what it's about but, or have any desire to watch, but I feel compelled to just to see what we avoided in Ep 9
