    Rey not being related to anyone we've already met makes the most sense to me. I should mention I didn't watch that video but the image makes me think it had to do with Rey being related to Palpatine.

    For the record I think everyone is way over thinking it and she's either Luke's kid or her parents are no one we know.

    I just can't fathom JJ, Kathy and Larry Kasden sitting down to break the sequel trilogy and saying "Let's make Rey Sheev Palpatine's g-daughter!"

    I never understood why people go into such depths to come up with theories. I love movies, but I'm not going to watch every frame to see the the third alien behind Han at Maz's bar did a double take, so clearly he is related to Rey.

    yeah but the fighting style thing is exactly what I'm talking about.

    Does anyone really think JJ was all "Okay Daisy, now I want you to make sure you LUNGE with your lightsaber..." Of course not. She was taught how to fight by the stunt coordinator, who had nothing to do with the prequel stunt guy that worked with Ian McDiarmid.

    Some of these fan theories are cool, but a lot of them just miss the forest for the trees.

    So I'm still way behind everyone in this thread, as I'm still catching up on Clone Wars with my kid. Season 3 is pretty damn cool, if I do say so myself.


    We've gone through Ventress being betrayed, Maul's brother, Anakin seeing his Vader future (briefly), and now Tarkin. Good stuff.
