let me know if the Domers need hotel and restaurant recs there is a Cheesecake Factory and Twin Peaks in buckhead for the Ohioans
It’s a real shame our Ohio State bros won’t be able to experience The Ivy after Buckheading it up during the day.
TMB pregame at Northside Tavern? Shutdown Fullcast and Split Zone Duo are doing an event Saturday Night at Monday Night Garage. Might be sold out but will be there.
It really annoys me that all of their fun stuff is over there and not within walking distance of my house.
Yeah, that’s a bummer. I love Fox Bros, but there’s nothing like Heirloom anywhere in the country as far as I’m concerned.
Rodney Scott’s near the dome doesn’t disappoint though. There’s also a bunch of cool stuff in Summerhill which is close proximity.
If I do come in Sunday night would you recommend Beetlecat? I've been following on insta and admiring their menu for a while now.
Beetlecat is awesome and you’re in the heart of Inman Park right off the beltline so there’s tons of other stuff around as well. Great cocktails, fun vibes, and a good slice of Atlanta too in terms of clientele. I’d recommend sitting downstairs for the full experience.
I don't know exactly what I was looking for but I couldn't find the right Vin Diesel gif for this situation.
Delbar is a good spot right there too. The Albert a good dive bar. And youre a short walk to Krog St market. Weather dependent obviously but ideal place to helicopter into. Fishmonger is the seafood spot, but their locations are a bit in a transition as they are opening new locations.
They are opening a fishmonger in Nashville this year at some point. Ford Fry has a decent presence here and his places have all been solid.
Northside Tavern is the spot for pre/post game festivities. Truly an incredible dive bar. I’m also quite partial to Mr. C’s; both are pure Atlanta. White Hall Tavern (basically a souped up Applebee’s which I love) is the official #Ohio State Buckeyes bar fwiw. Solid bar food, good beer, but usually a ton of kids/families so it can be pretty hectic.
I've done most of my pregame at Park Bar. Now that I have all my drinking plans lined up for the NC hammer Texas ML.
Fwiw Signia Hotel rooftop-ish is the new move. Hard Rock Hotel had a 1 year run but sorta bad management. Also Wild Leap Brewery at Centennial Yards can get rowdy.
Wild Leap is a lot of fun before big events at the Dome, but my god does it get slammed. Wait times can be absolutely brutal.
Notre Dame ppl come off more Publix refined but here is a list of Kroger parking lots for the Buckeyes https://atlanta.curbed.com/maps/a-definitive-mildly-wrong-map-of-atl-kroger-nicknames - Murder Kroger (RIP now too posh) - Disco Kroger - Kosher Kroger - Hipster Kroger
