Seabrook contract makes most sense but who would touch that without significant retention or high end picks Guy was slow af
The HF rumor that is most definitely not true is: Seabrook to TML, propects to Anaheim, Manson to Hawks.
Have a feeling this off season is going to be wild. My hope still is they are able to move Panarin for a top level young D-man or D prospect.
so this Hossa news is pretty big ability to evade the recapture penalty is a nice cheat code unlocked Losing some of the things Hossa brings to the team would be short term negative, but would clear meaningful $ off books to replace him....and his contract on LTIR would become a nice trade asset to a cap floor team.
Is Darren Raddysh anything to get excited about? I'm going to assume he's better than Pokka just because.
Stay with me here. Hossa traded to AZ in the Datsyuk deal for a 2nd. Trade Anisimov in a package for a young stud defenseman Sign Dadonov Panik Toews Kane Panarin Schmaltz Dadonov Keith Seabrook Hammer/ D acquisition If you don't know Dadonov he is a Panarin level player and those two played the same line and tore up the KHL together.
Is this Hossa story some bullshit to cover our asses and allows Hossa to retire? I've never heard of him suffering for any skin condition.
So we got worse and younger... Yay!!! The goalie may be the steal of the deals. Saad is a great fit on this roster but our back 6 right now look horrific.
Murphy is highly regarded which is why he has a $3.8 million contract at age 24. He's not Hammer but he's on his way up.
Still have to think Kruger is on his way out tonight. Wonder if they can pry away one of Vegas' first round picks for Kruger + 26 + prospect
The dude got demoted on the Yotes and played third pairing last season. Call me unconvinced he's going to amount to shit at this point
Schmaltz is a stud but I think he's better on the right side and he doesn't shoot enough to play with Kane. I don't see them fitting awfully well together. Real shortage of LW on this team. Maybe move Hartman to LW and play him with Kane and Anisimov. Let Schmaltz run 3rd line. Wish Debrincat was a LW
Its shocking to me how many members of not just the sports media, but the national hockey media do not understand long term injury reserve and how it works.
think Kruger gets traded to Vegas today if that is still the case was due some roster bonus that Vegas wanted us to pony up on July 1
Guessing he will be a bottom 6 Center? I havent followed him much outside of a few yrs with the sharks.
