I'm not sure, you guys, but I think marcus might feel like this is the Orlando series all over again.
Basing this solely off my lifetime as a Cleveland sports fan, but I feel like the series is already over. They had a chance to win tonight in the final few minutes - one team stepped up, one team didn't. We'll throw at least one dud up in the United Center and maybe two. Margin of error is pretty slim now. And marcus - this feels more Boston 2010 than Orlando 2009 to me.
This is going to hurt a lot worse than Boston or Orlando. We got exposed in those series, which still hurts, but once the losses settled in, we knew we just weren't good enough. We'll never know that with this team because some piece of shit asshole from.some piece of shit team that shouldn't have even been in the playoffs in the first place, decided to rip kevin love's arm off. This is a greatteam but they have seven who can play and one who can kind of play. After that, it's Joe Harris and Friends of LeBron. We needed perfect health to win a title and we didn't get it. No matter what happens, hopefully some.lunatic runs onto the floor next year and beats olynyk to death with a lead pipe
Even if they lose this series this is only year one of Lebron and Kyrie. Like the Heat the Cavs roster should only improve going forward. I don't think Love is going to leave but even if he does they'll just get another stretch four and probably another solid player with the extra money they'd have. I know you guys are Cleveland fans but you've got two great players to build around for the next 3-5 years so back away from the ledge.
I could see that happening. Game two is must win though. Need a sharper LeBron and much stronger defense
Lol if I had a dollar for every time a Cleveland team has gotten eliminated "with a lot to build on!" over the last two decades... We always lose, but it's "oh next year!" and then someone gets hurt, or leaves, or we make a bad trade... To legitimately have a chance like this team does this year to win a terrible East and play a relatively unexperienced finals opponent (LAC? GSW?) doesn't come around very often. Unfortunately, KLove got hurt in the year with the easiest path to the title this team will ever have.
He's playing really good ball right now. Everybody [analysts] talked about how he didn't have a good shot, so defenses could clog the middle. If he keeps hitting from outside, they will have to start spacing the floor again...opening up for LBJ and Kyrie.
LeBron has that glint in his eye he gets when he is going from start to finish dominate a basketball game.
Our defense is making Chicago feel us tonight. Other than Lebron's aggressiveness that's the biggest difference so far.
If Perkins can get some fouls on their front court guys it will be the best thing he's done in a Cavs uniform.
