If yall know what is good for you, you will never line Jeremiah Smith up across from Muhammed. He knows his worth.
If anyone can slow him down it’s Barron. He’s statistically the best cover corner in football. Egbuka might have 300 yards receiving against Muhammad though
Anytime will howard played against Texas he’s played well and then made some soul crushing mistake. Lets hope that trend continues
Don’t have a good feeling if Texas’ defense has to play 50 minutes again. They dominated ASU until they had to play for 30 mins straight in the 2nd half
UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY, JAN. 1: Texas (13-2 SU/8-7 ATS) blew all of a 24-8 fourth-quarter lead vs. Arizona State, going to overtime tied at 24 in the Peach Bowl. The teams then exchanged touchdowns in the first OT to remain tied at 31. The Longhorns followed with a touchdown/2-point conversion to open the second overtime. Texas then picked off Sam Leavitt to seal a 39-31 win, while failing to cash as hefty 13.5-point chalk. Ohio State didn't have nearly that much trouble tonight, putting a beatdown on No. 1 seed Oregon. The Buckeyes led 34-0 late in the second quarter and coasted to a 41-21 victory as 2.5-point Rose Bowl favorites. DraftKings Sportsbook opened Ohio State-Texas at Buckeyes -4.5 in just the past 20 minutes and is already up to -6.5. Likewise, the total is on the move early, from a 52.5 opener to 54.5.
I think y’all’s D will be fine assuming the offense gains any traction (which is certainly an if with Quinn). Texas’s ability to stop the run without having to overcommit guys is the biggest key outside of that imo.
Sark, once again, got way too fucking cute in that third quarter. The playbook against OSU can't be complicated as Quinn will have even less time to throw.
I hope UT is down 10-13 at half, Quinn looks absolutely lifeless, and we finally get to see Sark make a decision with Arch.
it’s not happening man. Sark is too loyal. Same with the kicker. If he were going to put arch in it would’ve happened today but then Quinn pulled the game out of his ass
Whatever happens in this game is going to really piss the other team off and they’ll probably win the opening game next year because of it
Our buckeye friends are riding high as they should be but they’re not unbeatable. Texas has a better defense than Michigan even. It all comes down to Quinn doing stupid shit or not like most Texas games against good teams
Point Differential vs Ohio State this season: Michigan +3 Nebraska -4 Penn State -7 Oregon -19 Indiana -23 Northwestern -24 Tennessee -25 Iowa -28 Michigan State -31 Marshall -35 Purdue -45 Akron -46 Western Michigan -52
I have friends, a lot of them, on both sides in this one. Lets just hope for a good clean game of football
It’s amazing. From 11/30 - 12/21, Ryan Day was the worst coach in America, who should be fired, publicly shamed, then killed by a mob of sidewalk fans throwing stones at him. Now we’re invincible.
I believe he was using a season total for Oregon of the 2 games, that’s why it was -19 instead of -20
the two texas fan in my life are so over Ewers. His weak arm can be really limited. However, I will say he made some key throws late in that game. His experience is useful, even if he is pretty mid.
That fourth down throw was pretty (albeit terrible defensive scheme). He just does so many unnecessary things.
