Gary V has been shilling ETH and his NFT drop for weeks. Suggesting all his followers have at least .5 to 1 ETH for his 5/5 NFT drop For reference, BAO started in late December and has around 1,100 discord members to date Gary’s NFT hasn’t launched and has 80k members. Lots of new wallets being created by an influencer hyping up some NFT, with no real info behind what can be bought on 5/5. I believe there’s about 10,500 NFT tokens being sold on Wednesday.
...and I am now holding. Keep us updated. What on the daily chart made you change your mind from selling if it hit 3k?
Was running through Coinbase’s tutorials where they give out free crypto. The use cases for Graph (indexed blockchain search) and Stellar (cheap global remittance, among other things) are things I want to be involved in. Anybody have any thoughts about leaders in those spaces, either Graph/Stellar or competitors?
GRT is probably the leader in blockchain search....global remittances you might say XRP is the leader if you're going by market cap. But it's really kind of irrelevant as all crypto can be sent across borders for low transaction fees and instantly.
Agree that Graph is relatively unique, don’t think they have major competition. Stellar is one of many, who knows if one wins or they all win or all lose.
Y’all are looking at the wrong chart on eth if you’re getting bearish here. Check the eth/btc pair not eth/usd
I moved the last of my btc trading funds and most of my longterm stuff to eth about a week ago but I've been slowly building an eth postion for a while so hard for me to tell you to add here. If you're looking at it from a btc perspective (which is pretty much how I'm always thinking) I think we've still got some room to run. Eth was around 0.044/btc when I moved stuff last week and my plan is to start scaling back into btc ideally around 0.085 but I have a hard time not seeing it go to 0.1
It topped aT 3450. Hadn’t been watching it since I got home. This is the most profitable day I’ve had in crypto. I’m tempted to go to all cash. I don’t need to be greedy.
If I sell a few ETH and buy back at a later time, will I have to pay taxes? I’d leave it all on the account.
I hope it does. For me to break even on the 3 I just sold, I need it to drop and buyin again at ~3100.
Well double fuck me then. ETH is up almost 300 since I sold and I have to pay taxes. What if you trade it to USDT? Does that count?
Does ETH break the $3,500 barrier today? I wish I didn't sell. Mostly because I still have 60% ETH and I'm not enjoying the run up as much now because I'm thinking about the 3 ETH I sold.
So just to get this straight. Say I have 1 ETH Option 1 - Sell 1 ETH -->Pay taxes Option 2 - Trade 1 ETH to USDT --> Pay taxes?
It's starting to chew through the $3,500 wall on Binance. There was 7 million in ETH to go through. ...and it's through .
Really regret selling all my eth yesterday at 3290. I guess I can’t complain after buying at 2259 a week ago
RSI: 1 Week: 85 1 Day: 84 4 Hour: 76 1 Hour: 69 15 Min: 63 The big (2000-->1300) selloff in February came when it hit 90 1 week and 72 for 1 day.
It's already fallen from 3500 -->3350 since this post at 9:30am. If it does what it did in the past, it's going to drop a lot more. I'm not sure what I'm doing, but if it continues the pattern, it would drop as far down as 2800-2850.
If you’ve been holding less than a year (so full income tax) does it make mathematical sense to sell at 3300 and buy at let’s say 3000 given the extra 19ish% tax of full income over cap gains? I feel like I’ll be able to get back in lower than where I sold but not 20% lower
Just hold. I regret selling at 3200 last night. I have to pay taxes and have to cheer against something just so I can get money back in. It sucks to be cheering against anything crypto.
