People in here are playing different games, and that's fine. Some want to trade and chase alts, for dollar profits. I'm purely dollar cost averaging to accumulate as much btc as humanly possible. From my view, selling at $60k to try to buy back in at $50k with the risk of taxes plus buying back in at a higher price, is a fool's game when I think it's going to $100k, then $500k, then $1m, etc.

 

Pffft. Like the maxi phrase wasn't meant to be an insult from you in the first place. Might want to take a look into who started with that and why.

 

A little correction has to happen soon. This is a lot of continued green. ETH just hit 4100

 

I’m on board with you, even when I sell its to something else that just has higher upside. Selling to USD is poverty mindset in current market.

 

There’s certainly a time to derisk (even from BTC) but now does not seem to be that time.

How many BTC do you have? I remember you posting a pic in the past of some of your purchases. I'm guessing you have more than 20 but less than 50? I don't need exact, but trying to get an idea.

And can you stop taking offense to BTC Maxi. Who cares. You are definitely a huge BTC fan. If they call you a maxi, it's true. I don't think of it as a negative comment.

 

I hope you didn't sell this morning. I'm hoping ETH still has a ways to run. I passed my personal crypto ATH just now (partially because I added some crypto, but also because I've made some in interest).

Then who could blame you for being a maxi? I'd be the worlds biggest BTC maxi too if I had the conviction you've had for so long and have so much money riding in it.

 

If I had 3 million plus in BTC I'd have sold it all by now and be on a beach somewhere.

FYI my initial plan was to HODL long term and I'm not going to stop now. It's just tempting to flip it for a quick buck.

 

If I had 100 BTC I’d be staking them and living off the 6 BTC I’d gain annually.

 

And idk if I’d even worry about adding to my stack w a 100k bonus and go up 1.5 BTC when I already have 100. I don’t think my brain could rationalize spending 60k on something I DCA’d at 1/100 the current rate. I guess that’s why I’m not a crypto millionaire. Heck I’m not even a crypto holder w 6 digits yet

 

I sold dozens of ETH under $200.

 

If the long term thesis is that it takes on $10-100T of capital, it’s pretty easy to justify continuing to buy at $66k.

Every crypto just had a candle like 90% down and all of my limit orders just got filled. I made an immediate 20%+ on all of them

 

Looks like it’s just binance.us, wonder if somebody had a huge sell order and put 8200 instead of 82000. If anybody had limit orders from the summer that they just never deleted, they made like 100% profit in a flash

Oh and all stop losses on longs must’ve been triggered too, any leverage just got destroyed

 

Somebody on Binance.US sold 575 coins at $8,200 at a loss of over $32 million. Holy shit

 

How’s that remotely possible? The order book is so thin that such a small scale sell would drop prices there that low?

 

how do you sell at a loss when the coin is at an all time high

 

Binance.US doesn't have near as much volume. 163m volume today. So 32M is 1/5 the volume and he sold it all at once.

Quiet today on a down day, or at least down since 7:30am.

I try to not to check my portfolio because it really doesn't matter what the price gets to. But it's hard not to. I like checking the overall market cap.

 

They put in a sell order at $8,200 and it filled at the asking price ($8,200), not the market price

Everything points to a healthy retrace so far

Hoping we don’t have any bad news that tanks us, but really looks like the cycle is lengthening into next year.

I have all of my ETH staked on Celsius. That way I can still sell it if needed.

 

I'm finally positive in LINK and really tempted to convert it to something else.

 

Did you really wait for it to turn positive instead of moving the money to a more promising option, just because? I guess it’s having a good couple of days but you could’ve made your money back much quicker elsewhere

Really funny how there is so much negativity out there from the past couple of days, while BTC keeps bouncing off $60k as support which is just crazy when you think about it

 

I plan on holding onto my LINK long term. I lazily vent some of my emotions/thoughts in this thread. Most of my thoughts are half baked. I figure it's not a problem until this thread gains some traction.

Glad I didn't sell because it's past $32.
