It’s definitly much cheaper especially last minute. Not even close in size. I’d say it’s more age appropriate for our 5 year old and what she likes.
1yr old threw up milk in our bedroom this morning. First time I've dealt with puke in carpets. Any advice for getting the smell out? Thought I cleaned it up well this morning but it stinks.
need to buy a 13 month old girl a dress (things I never thought i'd post on tmb). what sizes am i looking at here? I see some are listed as age, but some come in size.
Nvm, I'm an idiot. So sizes 7-14 means 7-14 months. Ok. Some dresses listed as "months" and others didn't, so I assumed I needed to know her actual size.
I have heard that a very general rule is to double the kids age. So for a 13 month be looking at a 2T size.
it's a surprise for a single mom. The question was answered appropriately above, however I do appreciate your reminder that the mother of the child will know the size of her child's clothing.
Wife rushed out yesterday to go to her sister’s house, to which I thought nothing of. She returns home and tells me, “we need to talk.....I’m pregnant”. We have a 9 month old. God, help me.
Kinda pissed off My good friend was in a bind a few weeks ago and needed a babysitter, so we recommended they use ours, who we found from our church nursery. Well we both have the same wedding in a month; one of our other best friends. My wife texts our sitter tonight and it turns out she's taken. By my friend. I wouldn't be pissed but they knew that we needed her for that weekend. It's not some random weekend, which would have been totally cool with us. Shitty friend move of them or snooze you loose?
Shitty friend move for sure. Its hard to find a decent sitter. They should have deferred to you first for the weekend without a doubt. I wouldn't make a big deal about it, but would certainly bust their balls for the next couple months.
Truth. I caught hell trying to find one a few weeks ago. My wife had to skip a rehearsal dinner and stay home. I doubt my friend knows what his wife did, just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing.
How many kids and ages for you and your friend? Could the babysitter not watch both? We have a great babysitter here and sometimes us and our friends use her at the same time so we can go out together. Both of us have a 4 and 1yr old.
Jr is weeks 4 weeks tomorrow. First 2 weeks were a dream, slept a shit ton, rarely cried, zero complaints. Last 2 weeks a different story. He still sleeps great at night but from noonish till ~9-10PM if he's not on the boob he fusses. He'll sleep little chunks but not much. The timing coincided with my wife starting up coffee again so she's going to cut that out today along with dairy, gassy vegetables etc. We tried gripe water here and there and then yesterday got some mylicon drops but don't believe either helped. I guess the main culprits are colic or reflux but I find it weird that he sleeps at night no problem. Really hoping her cutting out caffeine among those other things can right the ship.
Mini Boomette had an initial dairy intolerance, so my wife went dairy free for the first six months. It’s a bitch at first, but she found her groove and started to tolerate vegan cheese and other dairy substitutes. The baby weight also melted off of her due to the diet. Hope the change helps Jr.
Took Lil Bishop has been on the bottle since Week 3. He started getting more fussy about week 4. Upped the amount in his bottle and he was all good. So I'd guess he just isn't filling up when he feeds.
Our 5 week old has been similar. She's been pretty fussy during the day. It's just what happens as they get older and more aware of their surroundings. Happened with our previous ones too.
This was reflux with our second. He’s been completely different and happier since we got him on some baby Zantac
son turned 1 last week, was a ton of fun having everyone over for a party... wife sent me texts today that she is ovulating and she wants to start trying.... welp... Spoiler i'm actually fine with the timeline. we both want them close in age and agreed/understand it will be tough for a stretch but worth it in the end. So we know the risks upfront and will be a team to get each other through rough spots. also got the wife to agree to a real 'trying period' since last time was a one-hitter quitter. She promised a fun weekend
Car seat question. I need to get the next one after the infant one. Son is a year old. I see the Graco 4Evers which appeal to me since they are versatile and can 'morph' from rear to front facing and then to a highjack booster and then just a booster. In theory you can use it until the kids is over 100 lbs. But how much of that is useless? Should I just get the Graco one (the Extend2fit) that is 'good' until he is 65 pounds and basically just doesn't convert to a basic booster seat. I need to get 2 of these (1 for each car) things so everything is x2. Just not sure how much marketing I am falling for here.
If you are not already aware, spacing the pregnancies too close increases the risk of autism. Congrats on the sex. http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/early/2016/04/05/peds.2015-3482
