Speaking of 2 year olds sleeping through the night my 2 year old has given us 1 whole week of reprieve before deciding to be awake from 1230-330 every goddamn night. Good side is she’s developing immensely during this timeframe but fuck, she hasn’t slept through the night since birth except for this 7 day stint. Back on her bullshit I suppose.
Put wicked jr to work today. He's almost 8 and a half. I was outside doing yardwork and I was.not getting as much.done as inhad hoped. He came outside and asked what i was up to. I asked if he wanted to make a little cash. He said heck yeah! Taught him how to use the powerwasher and he powerwashed our whole patio and half of our driveway before he had to leave for a birthday party. Did a damn good job too. Proud as hell of him and he saved my ass today. Snapped a pic of him in action.
I can probably count the number of times in the last 7 months on one hand I've woken up in bed and my son wasn't in between my wife and I. Bruh loves to snuggle. Creeps in our room around 2am every night.
This crazy thing with doors and locks is they can be unlocked and opened immediately shortly quickly after a long enough time okay of being closed and locked
Prom weekend this weekend graduation next weekend Grad party the next weekend I’ve almost made it without him getting expelled
Well, my wife told me last night my daughter, who is going to be 12 in September has started asking questions about getting her period. Not sure I'm ready for what's to come.
Was just trying to express my lack of excitement for the hormonal changes that are on deck in my household in the very near future.
I was reading a parenting book about age appropriate sex ed topics and it said that some girls may — although rare — start their period as early as 8. My oldest turns 6 this summer and so that was a bit eye opening.
Told my almost 5 year old that my wife and I were going to a wedding and he said "They are going to kiss"
Yea. I, once after building an elementary school many years ago, saw some of the stuff they were stocking the nurses office with and was so surprised I had to ask the nurse about it. She said you would be surprised by the number of elementary age girls start while that age.
My daughter is about to turn 8 but is probably a year behind with her emotional intelligence. She told me one of the boys in class, when they were playing together outside of school on a play date, kissed her and that upset me a bit. The other dad definitely got onto him, but damn puberty is not going to be fun for me with my anxiety.
I don't think he's complaining but this thread is endless complaining. Its' a period. It's not a big deal
Just got done breaking down the weekend worth of inflatable yard water stuff Hanging to dry on my bbq trailer Will be having some extra kiddos over for next weekend, so it will be rolled back out again in a few days
We to a 2026 Kindergarten meet up today. Son played with a bunch of his pre-k buddies and made some new friends. I was tired so not trying to fight and it took me about 30 minutes to convince him to leave. As we're leaving he tells me he needs to go to the bathroom. Say sure, okay let's head over here....before I could finish that sentence he whips it out and starts pissing on a tree in the middle of the fucking play ground Well safe to say we're not going to go to that school
One of my lasting memories from elementary school was pissing on a tree after school. Most of the guys in my class were on the same YMCA soccer team so we just practiced in the field next to the playground right outside the school, I frequently pissed on the same tree.
